It was all amazing.

Everything was just perfect, the room was very nice and clean, and the view absolutely amazing! The staff were so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good and the lovely animals made the experience perfect. We can highly recommend this place. Would have loved to stay longer.

Absolutely stunning place, very secluded and peaceful with tasteful decor and a cosy but modern feel. The dining room and living room with big windows and a view over the sea and mountains are spectacular! They offer a range of great experiences and delicious food, and all the staff are helpful and friendly. The farm animals are very cute and there is even a dog, cat, and rabbit in residence! Absolutely recommend this place as an escape in an other-worldly landscape.
This is often a positive but just so people are aware, there is not really any other infrastructure nearby - if you're staying here without a car then you'll be eating all your meals here too, which isn't a bad thing (but can get pricy)! You also pay for everything: borrowing snow poles, snow boots, feeding the animals, etc. Again, that is fair enough, but it might have been a nice touch to allow guests to borrow snow shoes for free, as they aren't in high demand and seem quite low maintenance.

Beautiful location. Great accommodations
Breakfast hours are 8-10 in the morning. By 8:40 almost no food left. And no food added. If you come to eat after 10 in the morning there is no food added and you told there is no more food left. Totally unacceptable!

This hotel was great find! I initially tried the Sommaroy Artic Hotel in but it was filled so I booked this one instead and I was really happy we stayed here instead. It was clean and charming. The food was great. The breakfast presentation was amazing. The farm was fun to walk around and see the animals. The view from the dining room was spectacular. The hostess was friendly; you can really tell they trying hard to make this stay a great experience for people and they have accomplished that. I highly recommend this place.
The experience was fantastic. There was nothing I didn't like.

The place is very nice and cozy. The view is amazing. The animals were very cute. They offer a jacuzzi and sauna. I am sure that it’s a perfect experience when it’s snow and northern lights.
It was a misunderstanding - this place is for adults only. I have not seen it in the description or in the name. I thought it’s a child friendly farm but we were unwelcome. My mistake was that I wrote that we are coming with a baby under 1 year who sleeps with us in a comment instead of choosing 2 adults + baby in the system. Owners mistake is that they didn’t write it in the name or description Adults Only or did not tell about it before we arrive. We were allowed to overnight but we got several times reminder during stay that it’s not allowed with babies. We felt uncomfortable.
I also recommend to go to breakfast earlier. We were a bit late - came around 9 - it was a very poor choice but bread and coffee was good.

Perfect location on the sleepy side of Klavoya. Very quiet. Fresh air. Cute little farm with goats that come running when they spot you :D
Maria helped us with an issue we had during our trip. She is very kind, thank you so much.
nothing to complain about but breakfast can be improved

The staff is super friendly and the food very tasty. The view out of the restaurant is fantastic.
Value for money as the facilities are not included within the price. The Sauna, Jacuzzi as well as a simple bathrobe come at an additional price.

Beautiful view. Comfortable room. Excellent breakfast and dinner served. Fun snowshoe excursion.
We did not know you can not wear your shoes inside any of the buildings (including the dining room) We would have brought slippers or some no slip socks if we knew ahead of time.
There were curtains, but no sheers on the bedroom window. It was impossible to have any privacy without making the room dark. It’s a small thing, but when on the ground floor I prefer the option to not have people walking by staring in.

Really cozy hotel, clean rooms, and amazing views. The food was also really good with locally sourced products and the onwers were really friendly. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a peacefull and relaxing stay

Loved the location, polite staff.
Transportation from the hotel was expensive. Was charged extra apart from the regular charge they had as I wanted them to pick me up bit late. I had even mentioned in advance that I will be late for a while but they weren’t flexible with the change in time even by half an hour. Charged for a cup of coffee where it should be made available for free at the hotel like other places. Food wasn’t that great, I had ordered vegetarian meal for dinner and wasn’t even a Norwegian dish as stated by them.

Thank you for the stay we had a great night and a great dinner.

The breakfast was lovely, the coffee was great and the view was exceptional!

The facility (rooms, dining area, common areas) are clean, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. The proprietors and staff are very very friendly and personable, and are quick to answer “touristy” questions. The views of the fjord from the hotel are breathtaking, and when you can’t see the fjord you’re gazing at marvelous tree-covered mountains, or charming rural-Norwegian farm houses. Lastly, the food served there was largely made up of local fares (white fish, reindeer, etc.) and was delicious.

Nice Animals and Nature. The worker's of the Hotel where both very friendly.
Clean dining area.
Hotel owner was not really flexible, i felt she struggled to offer a 2nd, vegetarian option. Everything had very high additional costs - which you have to take as there is nothing else around. Jacuzzi costs extra, the Sauna then on top, mountain hike with snow shoes etc.
Breakfast was from 8 - 10. We came at 9 and there was already not much left, but the couple that came after us at 9:30 probably did not get much breakfast at all.

We really enjoyed our 2-day stay- wish we had spent a 3rd night instead of heading back to Tromso for the rest of our vacation. The farm is not large. It is up off the road and has a great views. It is a great spot from which to go and hike, do the nearby husky sledding, or other activities on Kvaloya. Food was very good. A variety of things for breakfast in small portions, but overall plenty to eat. Not the kind of "big breakfast" to hold you until dinner, but we didn't expect that, so were very happy.
Like many places with radiant heat, there is no individual thermostat in the room- we had to open a window to sleep since we like it cool. Which was OK until the rooster began crowing (we're on a farm- it isn't unexpected). Fortunately the room had cooled enough that we could close the window. This didn't ruin our stay- but if it would be a problem for you, make sure Marie knows- she may be able to lower the temp or put you in a room facing away from the barn.

We had a very nice stay there within a familiar atmosphere. Great local food and a cozy livingroom for all. In addition we had the chance to visit a lovely cabin in the mountains to watch Northern Lights! We can really recommend it! Thanks!

What a wonderful place! Every little detail was well thought of. More than a hotel. It was like a place for meditation only with comforts!
Can't find a single fault

Beautiful, peaceful location and calm atmosphere. Especially enjoyed the jacuzzi on a rainy day. Food was good and staff was friendly. Breakfast was very good, but a little something sweet would have been a nice addition.
Food options were limited in the restaurant so vegetarians/vegans should contact the venue early. Dinner booking needs to be made in advance.

Great Food, super nice staff, gorgeous nature with cute farm animals and view!
