Eigentlich ein wunderschönes Apartment, aber ...

...das Doppelbett hat eine billige und knarzende Federkernmatraze, bei der der Partner mitbewegt wird, sobald man sich selber bewegt (wie im billigen Wasserbett). Ausserdem sind die modern wirkende Fenster alles andere als schallisoliert.

Super Lage

Haus liegt direkt an der Durchfahrtsstasse, Fenster sind sehr hellhörig, Autos hört man trotz geschlossenen Fenster. Schöne Terrasse, allerdings auch direkt an der Straße!

Es gab genügend Handtücher und es gibt eine Klimaanlage/Heizung.

Wohnung ist leider sehr in die Jahre gekommen (Geschirrspülmaschine wäscht nicht sauber, Wäsche aus der Waschmaschine riecht muffig, es kommt kaum Wasser aus der Dusche...). Bettwäsche hat durch die Feuchtigkeit nicht wirklich frisch gerochen. Die Gastergeberin ist leider recht unfreundlich. Die Küche ist nicht sonderlich gut ausgestattet. Die Wohnung ist direkt an der Strasse und ist somit recht laut und eher nicht so gemütlich.

Perfect location, very spacious and super clean with all the privacy you need. Super comfortable bed, even if you have back problems.

The staff was friendly and responsive. They seem to try their best with what they have to work with.

I booked the most expensive 1 bedroom apartment with balcony option. I paid more thinking it would get me a top floor apartment or the nice/quiet apartment. The property messaged me to say I was being upgraded to a vila with garden. I say, ok, great. The day before my check-in, they call me to say they have a maintenance issue at the vila I was promised, and not only do I not get a vila, I don't get the 1 bedroom apt I reserved. I have to stay in a studio the first night and then move the next day. They offer me an extra night as compensation. I say ok. I end up in a ground floor apartment, facing a very busy restaurant. I didn't use the extra night because the stay was so bad I didn't want to spend one more night in the place. Other than the confusing and disappointing non-upgrade to a downgrade, the property is also in major need of an refurbishment. The beds are the cheapest things you could get and worn out. Just a bunch of springs that sinks right to the slats. There are glass doors that face the street, which has constant traffic during the day, and a busy restaurant that is open until 1:30am some nights right across the street. The curtains on the doors do nothing to block the noise or the street lights. You will hear noise until after midnight every day and the room is bright enough at night to see without turning lights on. Bathroom has the typical Portuguese bad plumbing smell. Which isn't unusual here, but didn't expect it from this property for the price I paid. There were ants in the kitchen. Sheets/pillows/towels are cheap and not comfortable. The door lock was difficult to open, needed maintenance. Garage was not secure. The staff I talked to were as helpful as they could be. It's not their fault, but the place needs some money and work invested in it badly.

Very comfortable, had everything we need. Bonus was we were upgraded to this Vila! would highly recommend.

The location was really convenient, just steps away from the nearest beaches but far away from noise. The staff were very accommodating.

I think something was not right with the bathrooms pipes as sometime it smelled as if mold. we had to keep the windows open. The mattress was too old, we felt the springs after some nights sleeping.
