Absolutely everything - beautiful house and room. Delicious breakfast and, most importantly, fantastic, friendly hosts. We could have easily stayed longer despite the horrendous weather (which no one can control!)

The most delightful and considerate hosts. Top floor suite as we call it was so comfortable and relaxing. We felt quite spoilt! A rather tall husband had a bit of a sore head will low beams in places. We would definitely stay again when in the area.

We would only say it was missing a shower but it wouldn't stop us booking again.

Both very friendly, the room was lovely and loved the little touches. Lavender on the bed. Cake in the room and lindor chocolate. Extra special water in glass bottles. Gorgeous view of the garden and the sea beyond

This is an exceptional property which is tucked away in a quiet corner of Porthcawl, however once you know where it is you will want to return to enjoy another stay in this charming house. The room was a good size with a lovely view over the garden and the bay beyond. There were many thoughtful touches provided such as tea coffee and milk and homemade brownies. (plus a coffee machine) The breakfast provided in the breakfast room was just so lovely - eggs anyway you want plus cereals fruit and choice of yoghurts and a range of cold meats and cheeses. This place is simply fabulous and we highly recommend it

it was large and spacious, clean, welcoming and homely. we were welcomed in the courtyard by the hosts. a lovely gesture. They made sure we were made to feel at home, showed us around. the rooms were on the top floor, so quiet. the rooms were large and spacious with the bathroom next door to the bedroom. we liked that very much. it had the biggest Bath which was pure luxury. Milton brown toiletries were left for our use which again added a touch of luxury and smelt divine. Breakfast was the best I've ever seen. fresh fruit, yogurt, vast array of cereals, croissants, ham cheese, homemade jams and marmalades. toast, eggs, smoked salmon. it was just the best!

The warm reception, incidental interesting conversation, beautiful location with an evening walk to the beach, the attractive room with garden view, comfortable bed and llittle extras and the excellent breakfast.

Everything! From start to finish it was an absolute pleasure. The premises was amazing, the owners were delightful and couldn't do enough for you, the room was fantastic and had lots of little extras to make it even more enjoyable and the breakfast was absolutely superb

Nothing to dislike.

The house was a lovely house full of character. The accommodation was amazing and beautifully clean. The breakfast was delicious in front of a roaring fire. The owners were so friendly and kind and full of information as to local facilities. We would highly recommend this accommodation and hope to come back ourselves.

The stay was lovely and the owners couldnt have been more welcoming.

The very top floor bedroom was cold thro the night and early morn. Only a small radiator. A small heater would help.But other than that a great stay, very clean.Lovely Breakfast.Arrived to lovely homemade cake in our room.Thank you so much :-)

I think Jonathan and Jane (our hosts) have gone that extra mile adding the little touches often missing from other places All in all top notch

Our stay here was amazing, the property was beautiful and Jane was a lovely host. The breakfast was an incredible selection of cereals, fruit and yoghurt, eggs, toast/croissants, and a spread of meats and cheeses. A minute walk away from a pub called 'The Jolly Sailor' which does amazing food and drinks, and not too far from a beach. Can't wait to visit again and would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing time away.
