Jodie was a great host, so pleasant. The home and the amenities made our stay fantastic and memorable. The family enjoyed our vacations, and we would visit the site again.

We arrived and checked in a little early. Everyone in our family was amazed with the accommodations provided by Jodi and Erik. From the ready to use kitchen to the comfy beds this house, the location and everything about it were just perfect for our 10 day vacation. I would recommend this propety to everyone looking for a quiet, off the beaten path get away. The cow moose and her 2 calves visited often and were a sight for all to see.

The property was beautiful and so clean. It had everything we needed, including some furry friends that live outside! The owners were so sweet and answered any questions immediately. We had 8 adults and 1 toddler stay for a week and it was perfect! Couldn't recommend more!

Very nice place with plenty of room. Great kitchen and dining area for entertaining. Beautiful master suite and en-suite bathroom. Upstairs bedroom/ family room was perfect for the kids. Plenty to keep the children occupied and entertained. The swing set was a hit as was the fire pit and making s’mores. Next time we will make plans to go fishing as this is the perfect place for a small or large group to bring back their catch, clean it, store it and cook it. You have the option of cooking and entertaining either indoors or outdoors. Indeed the property owners thought of everything.

I would diffidently recommend this home for a group or family adventure

We had a great week-long stay here, and everything was perfect! The owners left the most thoughtful welcome gifts and the welcome binder included everything that we needed to know for our stay. We had 3 kids age 3-8 with us, and the outdoor spaces and toys were invaluable. We enjoyed nice evenings on the deck and around the fire pit, and if it was raining, we retreated to the covered area out back and enjoyed the gas fire and yard games. The fishing poles and waders were much appreciated, and the fish cleaning station and large freezer space came in handy. The owners have thought of everything, and we're very responsive to any questions. We would stay again!

We loved the property . Eric and Jodi took detailed care of all the details small or big to make sure guests feel comfortable and at home. We will stay again when we visit Alaska.

The owners had great communication, location was easy to find, and my family from the Lower 48 couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else for the summers to come when in Kenai. We have stayed at a lot of VRBOs in the past. This is by far the best accommodations we have encountered. The Painters family home was able to accommodate a wide variety of ages 68- 10 months old . The house was spotless and offered many additions that made our stay enjoyable even during torrential rains. The pavilion next to the fish cleaning area was a big hit . The creative hook the fish game was enjoyed by all. The large yard with the swingset and fire pit was a favorite of the grandchildren. Cooking was a breeze in the well stocked kitchen. Too many thoughtful details to mention them all . Had a great time hope to return soon !

Secluded property with a great out door space. The house worked great for our 2 families. The rooms were so insulated and quiet that it made it easy to sleep at night. Lots of great fishing gear to use and a freezer for fish!

We had such a great stay!! There is no stone left unturned for family fun! The house is in a great location for fishing during the day and everything you need for family fun at night. We played badminton, cornhole, horseshoes and s’mores by the fire were a hit! The house is very cozy and had everything we needed for our traveling family of 5. (4 adults and an 11 yr old) The beds are super comfortable and the kitchen is just amazing! Jodi went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and settled and it was greatly appreciated! We’d go back anytime!!

We had a blast. We used the house for a weekend base camp. We went to Seward and then checked in and toured Homer. As a resident of Anchorage we visit Soldatna often and this place is amazing! Loved the atmosphere and property! Thank you for sharing your place with us!

This property was phenomenal. Great for kids and adults alike. Clean with all the comforts of home. Also great for families who love to cook. Lots of things for kids to do. Awesome fire pit. Can't say enough good about this property and the owner/hosts. They are very welcoming and accomodating.

Clean! Well stocked! Great host! We had a great time, playing games (they had a great selection), making s’mores, enjoying meals on the porch and watching movies in the game room. This home has it all and my family really enjoyed All the special touches. Such an amazing experience!

The property and owners were absolutely the best I have every encountered. The willingness to accommodate our family constraints went above and beyond what we expected. The home felt like home only better! Thoughtfully appointed functional areas, especially the kitchen, made our stay very comfortable. We are a family of cooks so to have this beautiful kitchen to enjoy was a slice of heaven. We wanted for nothing! Special thanks for the baby items, the playground and play items for the children and special gifts for the family. The continuity binder was amazing. Having that to refer to was very helpful. By far, the nicest, most well appointed, and comfortable property we've ever stayed at in Alaska. From beginning to end the communication was excellent. Super value for the money. I'm actually not sure if there are enough positive superlatives to describe the experience. Simply superb.

I have stayed in many properties down in the Kenai area, and without a doubt this has been the nicest property. The pictures on the add really don’t do it justice. The property itself is very big and has pretty much every amenity you could wish for. Jodie and Erik really took it to the next level with some very thoughtful gifts for the kids and adults. Could let be happier with our decision to stay there. Will definitely stay again the next time we are in the area.

Erik and Jodi’s home was the perfect place for our family trip to Alaska. They we’re very helpful and made sure our vacation was amazing. We had 3 generations at the property and it provided us with a lifetime of memories. The location was excellent, the house was clean, it was stocked with everything you need and had lots of space for the kids to play on the property. They had a blast playing badminton, horse shoes, corn hole and tag. The fish cleaning station was great and they even have a pellet grill for smoking and grilling. We had a nice fire each night that we sat around told our fish stories. I would highly recommend this house. We hope to do another family vacation there again. Thank you!

This home was perfect for a small Alaskan Wedding on the Kenai. The kitchen has everything. The two ovens were priceless. Fully stocked, very clean, extra fridge and freezer. Plenty of room for sleeping. From fire pit, large yard, location, large TV room, everything needed for preparing for a large gathering and a day of fun. Thank you for allowing us to stay. Just perfect!

I can't put into words how wonderful our stay was at this house.It was everything they said it was and more. Everything was provided from the kitchen cookware supplies spices to outdoor freezer space laundry soaps cleaning supplies games TVs it was perfect it was comfortable the outdoor area was amazing had horseshoes badminton cornhole a fire pit just so thoughtful fresh flowers couple of bottles of wine things for the microwave for kids such as popcorn just great

We had a great week at this home. The house was very accommodating for our group ranging from ages 5-67! The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could want or need. Amazing shower up stairs. Lots of activities inside and out. Fishing hole right around the corner. The home owners and very friendly and quick to answer any questions about the surroundings that they can. 100% recommend this home!!

Great place to stay. The house was very clean, we enjoyed it very much. We loved the fire pit and all the room. There were 6 adults and was still an extra bedroom. The owners were great, always friendly and available.

Everything about our trip was wonderful. Erik and Jodi were incredibly helpful and generous with their hospitality and knowledge. They went out of their way to make our trip unforgettable. This home was amazing for our annual dip netting trip to the Kenai Peninsula. The owners, Erik and Jodi are especially helpful and go out of their way to be accommodating. They were very quick with responses to messages and Jodi will go out of her way to communicate with you prior to your arrival to ensure that everything is set up the way that you want. The home is very nice and was perfect for our needs. It is plenty big enough for larger groups and the room with the bunk beds worked well for our friends with the larger family. One of our families had a 3 yr old and the owners had set their room up with a little Toddler cot, which was perfect for them. There is an array of games and toys available in the upstairs TV area, which had plenty of room for play. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, storage containers and an assortment of spices. The most beneficial part of this home was the presence of a fish cleaning station and the outdoor freezer and refrigerator to store the fish in. It was a huge asset to have, as this was our main reason for our trip. The weather was great for us the entire stay and the outdoor space was also a really big plus! The swing set came in handy for the little one and there is also a badminton and horseshoe pit for the others. There's a nice fire pit with plenty of chairs to sit around the pit. We couldn't use it due to the fire ban at that time, but it looked really nice. We just can't say enough good things about this property and the owners. We stayed here with 2 families which included 8 children. Jodi, the owner, is very responsive and made us feel very welcomed. Upon arrival we had fresh flowers, otter pops for the kids, items for s’mores, and she was able to pick up a few staple items we needed to get by for one morning before we could get our own groceries. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The yard was perfect for the kids to run around in. There was some fishing equipment we were able to use as well. The beds were comfy and the home very clean. We had a great time here and loved everything about this home! I highly recommend it!
