Melaney, the host, was so warm and welcoming. She was very thorough with making sure she was prepared for my arrival and to make sure i had the best stay, which I did! It was beautifully decorated and so relaxed and chilled, so much so that I wanted to stay longer! Melaney made a banana bread for my arrival, had milk and water in the fridge, along with wax melts to choose from for my room. There was everything you needed such as shampoo, shower gel, conditioner and a hair dryer, as well as a TV, fridge, towels and even bath robes. Breakfast was very yummy with lots of choice. The location was perfect, spectacular sea view, it’s also only 5/10 minute walk to the main shops.

Right on the seafront so an excellent view over the sea. Friendly and obliging host. Level walk to town centre, station and close to bus stops.

The room was small, even for a small person like me. No space for a wardrobe, the bathroom sink was barely big enough to wash my hands and the soap dispenser made it impossible to lean over it. Wouldn't want to spend more than a couple of nights there.

I stayed with my partner at Channel View Guest House just for one night during wintertime. The owner welcomed us in such a friendly way that we felt at home immediately. I was surprised that she had spontaneously upgraded us to one of her best rooms. And the room was fantastic with a direct view of the Channel. At night it was so silent that we slept lulled by the sound of the sea waves. I definitely recommend this place!

It is not the hotel's fault that some guests are inconsiderate. They come to the hotel room late and start rattling and stomping around as if they were in their own home.

Very friendly staff with lots of local knowledge, great location and views. Lovely breakfast with varied choice (and cake on arrival - nice touch!) Quaint old house. Plenty of restaurants, pubs, things to do in Weymouth.

All good really. Some might find the room a little small but that's obviously constrained by the historic style of the property.

Melaney and her family were absolutely lovely. She was really helpful as a host and told us where to have dinner and travel the next day. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was really nice and we had lots of options.

Unfortunately the bathroom was very small
