Loved the location and the amazing architecture, starting from the front door and then stepping into the open garden. Spectacular!

All!!! If you want to go back a couple of hundred years and feel like a princess, this is the place for you)). The apartments are located in an 18th century palazzо, antique furniture creates a unique atmosphere. At the same time there is a fully equipped modern kitchen (special thanks for the wonderful porcelain) and the bathroom (including a washing machine). Ferdinando is a very friendly and helpful host. We were very pleased to communicate.

Exactly at 7-00 we were awakened by the church bell, but thanks to this we came to the beach early))

Very Clean, spacious, excellent location, and view

Fernando was a great host & even organised a boat tour for us. The location was close to the town centre & all the vantage points

It's not a bad thing, but the steps to the apartment were many

Our host Ferdinando was terrific, very helpful, and waited for us when we arrived to take us through the property, and give us the keys. He was always available to us. The location of the apartment was brilliant in the old town but in a lovely quiet square with a stunning view of the hills and the water. Our apartment was huge and it was what I imagined and saw in the pictures. Gorgeous tall ceilings, big rooms, equipped kitchen, and large bathroom. Everything is within walking distance, the restaurants, cafes, beaches, and shops. There are small local shops within a few mins walk and then a bigger supermarket maybe 20mins walk.

The flat was in a great location in a sleepy square just off the center of town. The guys were super helpful and accommodating. Tropea is a beautiful city with stunning vistas.

The horse was not there to meet me. ;)

The room and adjoined bathroom were well furnished, super clean and tastefully decorated. We appreciated the customer service & assistance when we had issues with the AC and when the key to our room was not working and had to be replaced. The staff was always friendly and responsive. Also, there was a complimentary water waiting for us in the fridge when we arrived which was such a kind gesture (in Tropea, it is not advisable to drink tap water). We feel conflicted writing this review as there were things we really adored about the appartement - like the decor, a good WIFI connection, our bedroom walls (beautiful calming blue) or the truly SUPERB LOCATION of the building (in historical heart of Tropea but also off the busy main street + 10 min from the beach and 15 min from the train station) but we still were disappointed for the reasons stated below.

From the description on Booking.com, we were expecting a private appartement within a city building, however, when we arrived we found out that there's another appartement on the same floor and that we would be sharing an entry hall (which from the photos online we thought a dining room). We find it is important to stress and explicitly state that you would be SHARING space with other people (even more so during the ongoing pandemic). We were very distraught because of this. But it would not be even more of an issue were it not for the fact that we needed to cross the entry hall EVERY time we wanted to access our private kitchen. The kitchen was very small and did not have dining area enclosed - we had to carry everything back to our room (where we had a table and chairs) across the shared entry hall. It was hard not to disturb the other guests in the other appartment in the morning because you have to open and close the doors all the time (the fold-in door to the kitchen was awfully loud!). The kitchen also doesn't have a window so it heats up quickly and almost unbearably when cooking (at least in July). Very uncomfortable! We would also welcome if there was an electric kettle for heating water because we only had one suitable pot. And maybe more than two cups for tea. However, there was a functional dishwasher which we appreciated. Overall, we do not feel satisfied (eventhough we would like to) and we do not recommend this appartement if you want absolute privacy during your stay. Though, it may be good if you can rent the whole floor or if you're sharing it with friends.

Location was great didn't need a car to go anywhere since it was located near the center. Host was helpful with anything we needed and recommened great places to eat.
