Simple but clean hotel. Rooms where a bit dated, but very spacious

The size of the room and shape worked perfectly for our family. The hotel is set in the middle of nature but there is still a bus that takes you to the city centre. The beach at the lake (Heidemeer) was do-able on foot, so we spent a nice afternoon there too.

The decor was pretty dated and the carpet was quite worn - you can see that it would have been high-end in the 1990s but it seems that the rooms (or at least our room) hadn't been renovated/updated since. On a side note, there were about 20 mosquitos in our bedroom on the first night, so we spent some time chasing after them!

The room was poor and damaged. Pieces out of the wall. The ventilation in the bathroom was too loud. The carpet was dirty. The carpet in the stairs were used intence.

It was a last minute booking but the hotel manages to do everything correctly and organised all upon my arrival. It 's a basic hotel but perfect when doing a roadtrip through Netherlands.

I don't like carpet in the room :) But it is a personal thing because of allergies...

Good wifi, clean, nice staff, breakfast buffet made to take back to the room so all good.

Small thing, but way to hold doors so you dont have to touch door handles. Its a very specific Covid-19 related issue.
