Le personnel était très aimable et dévoué. Un plus aussi pour l’emplacement de parking et l’assistance lors du départ.
Le petit déjeuner était parfait, grand choix, juste les œufs brouillés pas assez chauds.
L’entrée et le dessert du menu étaient excellents.
La qualité du service au restaurant, très bien.
La chambre et la salle de bain (douche) étaient vraiment très étriquées, et difficile de le voir sur les photos… et il y faisait très chaud…
Comme déjà expliqué le plat principal ne correspondait pas au choix que j’avais fait sur base de l’émail reçu la veille (et aucune compensation ne m’a été proposée).

It is difficult to find but very central. However we had to move to another hotel as the room allocated wason the 3rd floor with no lift access and we had 2 dogs and a lot of luggage.
There was no indication on your site that there was no lift and certain rooms would be difficult to access. I have some mobility problems as well and getting dogs down to any sort of garden not possible

The meal in your restaurant was the WORST food I have had in many years. It was an inexcusably bad meal. The menu promised lovely and interesting cooking, but the actual food was so bad that we could hardly believe we were in France. My fish came with a spoonful of peanut butter on it, with a horrid potato resting on a piece of ugly dough crust, and another spoonful of peanut butter. The white asparagus entree came with a tasteless cold foam, like beaten eggwhite. It had no flavor and nobody knew what it was. The salmon had a piece of lemon grass stuck in the middle, but this gave no lemon grass flavor to the fish. The baked apple was OK, not great. Your chef should be ashamed.

We liked the breakfast (glutenfree bread available). We also liked the location and the staff. The hotel had impressice guests in the past, such as Tom Hanks or King Charles.
The room was nice, but maybe a bit smaller. Our view was not impressive, but I believe if we paid more, we could have a nicer room :)

Everything - they greeted us name and took great care of us. We came in late and they called the restaurant in town to let them know we are coming over. Very welcoming and easy give a good rating.

Super selection of local produce for breakfast. Plenty to choose from! Rooms spacious, comfy bed and pillows. Well equipped room and bathroom with good shower. Friendly and helpful staff at all times. Lovely restaurant with good dinner menu. Fantastic location right in the centre of town. Super bar area with log fire, comfy chairs and even a friendly cat! Images of famous people who have stayed at the hotel adorn the walls of the bar. We had a fabulous stay and had the most wonderful time at the Lion D’Or. Highly recommended and would stay there again.
Would have been better if there had been boiling water for making tea at breakfast.

Access to the toilet was off the room entrance - no hand basin. The main bathroom (no toilet) was accessed from a door on the opposite side of the room.
Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for the first two nights of our stay (limited opening days was not obvious in the publicity)
