Staff were helpful

No curtains so the room was drafty.

For the price it was what you expect, quite old fashioned in design, but we had a balcony overlooking the lake, breakfast is included, and parking is free. Good location for travelling around the lake

The bed was very hard and not comfortable, and the breakfast offering was ok but poorly executed, for example the cereals and bread rolls seem to have been left out so were stale on some days, and the milk tasted off on one of the days too

Everything was nice. Not sure why others have such low ratings…The room was clean, parking convenient, water for shower was hot, staff friendly, breakfast was big, had many options and was the freshest we’ve had in Italy so far. Even the coffee from the coffee machine was nice.

We announced our arrival and requested that we would like a heated room, but we received an ice-cold room, the heating did not work! after checking in (after a whole day's travel), we noticed that there was no water at all, neither hot nor cold, so even the toilet was not usable! We reported it to the staff, who said they know about it, but they can't do anything! He didn't tell us this at check-in, so if we can find another place! Bed linen is changed every day, but the floor is not washed, the room is old-fashioned, curtains are dirty.I made a video, but unfortunately it cannot be uploaded here!

I did not get the room I booked 'superior' and I was offered another one 'standard' which was a downgrade at all. I was offered a discount for that. OK, I could live with it for 1 night only & luckily. However, I was disappointed by low standards when it comes to cleanliness of that room. It was dark with very outdated furniture and mould in bathroom. Also bedlinens were not ironed out or mangled so I was not sure if it was a really changed and clean linens. Maybe they save for energy in that way but I have seen this for 1st time while I am quite a frequent traveller. I had to use my own towels to be sure I am not using something about which I had doubts.

The hotel needs maintenance. We had two rooms as a bigh family. There were broken lightbulbs in both of them and also both of them had broken shower. It was not possible to switch the stream from top shower to hand shower in one case, in second case the shower did not work at all. Also rooms would need more cleaning, because we find someone else cloths under bed.

We spent in the hotel 4 nights but we treated this place as a 'base-camp' (we were leaving hotel after breakfast and coming back in the evening just to take a shower and sleep) - under such conditions it was quite acceptable place. Breakfasts were nice BUT only if you likes sweats ...like me ;-) The view on the Garda lake from the window and so that cool breeze in the night coming from it was the best part of the whole stay :-) The staff was very helpful and in addition each day our room was cleaned.

Our window was opposite the restaurant so it was quite noisy - sometimes till the midnight - the small street below was generating noise as well. Room could be bigger and without that breeze from the lake it would be quite difficult to sleep well because of hot nights - even with a fan added to a room.

View is great

1. No warm water (first two days) 2, No WiFi for most of the time, or it was very bad 3. No fridge working (switched of in all the rooms - why?) 4. No managent at the hotel 5. And the embarrassing situation that arose when we were turned away from the private beach in front of the door, with which hotel Lido advertises on Booking (see image), but which turns out to have nothing to do with hotel Lido - pure deception.

Personnel - receptionist, very nice, great English, trying to help as much as she can. Good location, just next to lake, with good restaurants nearby. Available parking. 1.2km from centre of Gargnano (Villa) and port to take boat, bus station 1km.

Room (and hotel too) was quite old (last renovation seems many many years ago). Toilet seat broken in 2 pieces, we claimed that but personal was unable to fix. Switch on shower facet was stuck, personal ignored our request to fix it. Wifi not working at all, they were claiming some issue but nobody fixed that. 3rd (added) bed very unconfortable! We requested another room, but hotel was full. Breakfast not good, no vegetable at all, bread tasted like not fresh, eggs were overboiled. Coffe and drinks were good. In hot summer days definitely consider air conditioned rooms, we did not have, it was very hot (over 30!! degree) all night long in the room.

It was listed as air conditioning and neither the air conditioning or Wi-Fi worked, unfortunately.

Air conditioning was not working two very hot days. The same breakfast each day.

location was quieter than other areas in lake Garda, some lovely restaurants 100 yards from hotel, lovely private beach and bar opposite hotel. bus station 10 mins away and boats 15 minute walk away

1. Wi-Fi in rooms didn’t work 2. beds were so hard and uncomfortable. 3. some of the staff were always on the phone doing private calls, never there or unhelpful/rude 4. we told them we needed to leave at 6am, they told us to leave keys in room so we did and we ended up locked in the stairwell, unable to leave the hotel.. they didn’t answer the emergency number after 3 calls and we had to knock on a neighbours door for help. 5. air con doesn’t work so it was even more uncomfortable

The location is a sharming one.

The rooms are too small and they have no AC. The heat was unbereable. Pillows were almost flat, pretty uncomfortable.

the double bed was two singles put together so it wasn't comfortable to sleep in the middle of the bed and the mattresses kept on splitting apart which made me have to get up during the night to fix them
