In an excellent position to get to a good nearby shopping centre , in fact close to everything we needed. The room was a very good size with everything you needed including air conditioning which in the heat we were having was perfect . The bathroom was clean and acceptable . Yes its all a little bit tired and could perhaps be modernised , but then the hotel is always busy .

The beds though comfortable were VERY low , a tall husband 6'2" with a bad back , difficult , but once you got down into them they were comfortable .

The pool and the staff was an asset

The property was dated, smelt of stale smoke, in need of decoration and a gardener to tidy around the pool

Swimming pool was dirty around edges and plants growing in paving. In our room there was lots of very small insects on the floor. Broken fencing and no restuarant evening meals were available due to lack of chef.

The staff member that welcomed us was looking to run out the door as he was saying hello despite our arrival being two hours before the end of the advertised check-in time. The upstairs hallway had a leak in the carpet outside one of the rooms, but when we went down to mention this the reception was locked up and the staff member was gone. There were cobwebs in the rooms and the overall cleanliness was disappointing.

Pool Area

Shabby, grubby ,restaurant closed, no lift, receptionist laughed at us when we asked about a lift as we both have mobility issues, not enough towels, room shabby, dark. Restaurant closed.

Unfortunately not a lot!

It was ok, but the coffee machine wasn’t working. The hotel was very tired looking and run on a shoestring with very few staff.

Pet friendly and good breakfast option. Easy drive to opposite side of nearby river to access walking/cycle path to Bergerac approx 4K

Location too far from town and mainly in industrial area. Building is a bit tired and could do with a makeover . Guy on reception checking in was a bit abrupt not to welcoming

The room was good ,big plenty of room for luggage etc . Spotlessly clean .

It was on the first floor with no lift .Difficult when you're elderly and have to carry heavy bags upstairs . No restaurant for an evening meal .

Corridor to rooms smelt of damp and needs to be painted. Very tired looking room which also needs painting. swimming pool dirty. Room full of mosquitoes. The photo used for advertising is very old as the sun shade is filthy

Size of the room was very small especially the room for 4 with bunk beds

Bergerac is a beautiful place, Shame about the hotel.

No welcome greeting. Man just said here are your keys , no smile, no information about anything.

Hotel in need of some TLC and refurbishment. Very dated and could do with some repainting. Rooms rather cramped.

A LITTLE SHABBY BUT FINE.

Room adequate for an overnight stay before a flight but would not recommend for a longer stay. Room basic, en suite ok. Did not have breakfast.

Cleanliness. Although the surfaces were clean, I felt the floor was dirty. Having just had a shower, I walked around barefoot and I had to wash my feet again before climbing into bed.
