The staff were generally very nice, especially the ladies in the dining hall Rooms are pleasant and the hotel itself is in a good location in the town

We stayed in the landmark on the 27th and there was no issues (bar no options for late night room service as we arrived late in the evening) We booked back into the Landmark on the 29th of Dec. There was a wedding and hunt ball on the same night we were staying. As a result there were very noisy guest screaming and banging on room doors throughout the corridor we were on from 3am -5am despite us asking them to keep it down, so as a result we were unable to get any sleep When i discussed it with the staff at reception at 6am (who were pleasant and somewhat apologetic), i was made feel like my poor night's sleep was my own fault for not .ringing down to reception earlier (I was hoping that it was just going to settle and that I wouldn't have inconvenience anyone)and that no other guest had rang down to complain. Also, if you have an early morning train, there are no taxi options and you'll have to walk to the station (approx 15mins)

nice old house in good location

too old, hasn’t been refurbished in years, not enough sockets, lives from the location without keeping up the standard of the place.

when it arrived it was good but waiting 40 minutes for it was unacceptable

Very nice hotel with secluded parking.

The breakfast was great apart from the fried egg which I think was cooked by the cat.

Courteous and helpful staff, spacious and comfortable room, lovely bar and cafe, lovely decor, special vibe, great quality food.

There should be more than one small bottle of shower gel - the single very small size is barely enough for one shower. There could be a larger range of juices for breakfast, instead of just the two available.

Great choices food was hot service was excellent.

no swimming pool or kids room but don’t think that can be helped. only one tea bag, no biscuits or water in the room . iron board very broken. only small things but they make a difference

Cooked Breakfast was excellent. Staff very plesant and helpful.

Bedrooms very noisy, connecting doors between rooms so could hear the people in adjoining room so didn't sleep very well.

Very old style hotel. Very calm. Food excellent and staff, brilliant

It didn't really have a ''young persons'' vibe. The only very small ''bar'' area was part of the Restaurant and very quiet. A swimming pool would have been nice.

Breakfast was nice

Double bed was two single beds pushed together and weren't even. Bathroom ceiling flaking. Table in bedroom that had no use.

I loved absolutely everything about this hotel will definitely be back
