The property was lovely with lots of charm. It had a small kitchenette which was perfect for our use. A courtyard where we could sit and relax with a drink. Really grateful to Maurizio for picking us up from their car park and driving us and our luggage up to the accommodation, I would hate to have to wheel the luggage up on those cobblestones.

The heating didn’t work in the bathroom. but I’m sure that’s been fixed now.

Location in the heart of the medieval center. We are avid walkers and carry backpacks - be warned the entry from parking is steep, but if you are healthy, you can make it. If you have roller or hand luggage you should pay for the bag service. Town was wonderfully quiet after dark when the day trippers leave. Great breakfast at a nearby cafe with the vouchers provided... we were treated like royalty and there is a very good selection to choose from - we really appreciated the breakfast service. Apartment is well appointed with kitchen essentials.

The stone buildings are quite cold, and although we turned the heater up high, the heat never really reached the living room. Private parking lot was a bit difficult to find - the GPS coordinates are slightly off. We only found it because another car staying at the same apartments was entering. It's a small road just above the abandoned cafe and you park along a cliff face - it's difficult to describe, other than it is a small, gravel private road just above the cafe and you drive back into a gravel parking lot. Then you go up the stairs and follow the old medieval stone road up. Don't follow the Google walking directions... it's waaaaayyy longer.

The internet was not working on arrival but the host fixed it very quickly.

The accommodation is just beautiful, with a lovely courtyard and picture perfect rooms. Also the owner is very kind and attentive.

Just that it was a really cold place to stay in January (more our fault to go at this time of year). This would probably be a huge positive in the heat of summer. More for info, Erice is totally closed in Winter. If you go and need food, go to Trapani.

Very nice apartment in the center of the medieval city of Erice. Eevrything was as described. It is fully renivated with one original wall made of medieval stone. The terrace is surounded in medieval walls wich I found very appealing when we had our meals. Everything in the city is walking distance. You can also take a walk around and on the original medieval city walls and see the diferent era of construction. If you look carefully and take your time, you can still find writings on the outer walls that date back to the Phoenician era (dating back to before 300 BC), that for me is amazing! Hint: you can fin them between the Trapani door and the Carmine door (closer to the Carmine door).

We had a great stay! Check in was quick and smooth. The property was cosy and stylish and we loved staying in such a historical building. It was cooler in Erice compared to Trapani, but the apartment was very warm and cosy. The apartment is in a great location, just around the corner from restaurants and bars, yet very peaceful! We loved the little kitchen and the coffee and tea making facilities. The bathroom was great and the shower was powerful and hot!

We had believed that an iron was present in the property but we couldn’t locate this. Otherwise the stay was perfect!

worth making the effort to visit. Flat location is perfect. comfortable unit in central Erice. Terrace to sit outside is shared. Good host parking location close to cable car. Then a pick up or 10-15 min uphill walk. easy communication and access. Host has everything electronic online ahead. Helpful supply of coffee capsules and a paid minibar. Breakfast nearby in a super cafe, you can top up it’s light and sweet in nature. Lots of amazing viewpoints and sunset best from hosts car park.

A notification of complete road closure fir an annual race created a stressful day of arrival. We found it’s quite cheap €10 to park at the cable car park and use the cable car instead of driving up a 20km narrow 2nd gear mountain road. At busy times I’d avoid the road it was OK for a confident 64 years old driver but anxious drivers might struggle in peak season. Host did his best to resolve the disappointment and lost time.

The warm hosts provided useful suggestions and directions, the property was fully equipped, very quiet, dark and comfortable for sleeping, very cute. the town is very charming. The transport from the private parking lot outside the city walls was not only helpful, but, extremely fun riding in a car through narrow cobblestone streets.

Beautiful appt in hilltop town ,excellent value. Cooking facilities good but basic . Lots of nearby restaurants and cafes. A day spent wandering the narrow streets was wonderful. It’s a long way up the winding road to get to Erice so little point in making this a centre for exploring the area , but also if you don’t stay a night or two you will miss out.

We were contacted via Whats App about checkin, which was easy. Beautiful old building, with lovely courtyard. Walking around the walled city was easy and lovely.

Attractive property near Centre of Erice. Property was clean and spacious. Very comfortable bed. Dario was very helpful and friendly.

Shower curtain in shower. Outside area shared with 3 other apartments and was a bit cramped.

No breakfast provided. Great location in the old town.

Coffee machine was tricky. Wifi was spotty - did not work in the bedroom very well.

Great stay, the house is well decorated, authentic, spacious and has a beautiful bathroom.

The mattress could be more comfortable.

Gorgeous building and spacious rooms; very comfortable stay. Perfect location for walking Erice and excellent communication with staff despite all remote check-in.

The suites were centrally located so convenient to everything in the tiny town of Erice. We knew in advance that the parking would be remote, but we didn't need a car during our stay. Maurizio is very accommodating in meeting you at your car and taking you and your luggage to the suites (for a fee).

We were there in cool/cold weather. The bathroom was always cold except when a small space heater was running. The shower was designed in a way that assured half of the floor would be flooded after every use. The small second bedroom was always cold as well.

Because of the rain and cold it was hard to warm us up!

Location was perfect for access to everything in Erice. Parking was the main parking for the community so not close but a kind staff member transported us and our luggage to the doorstep.

The kitchen was not useful. No pots and pans, or plates so really just the sink was useable. It meant ordering out every meal. The voucher for breakfast was unnecessary as you still had to go to the bakery to pick it up and it would have been cheaper to just purchase at the bakery. There was a small refrigerator which helped.

Everything eventually got sorted out but it was a bit stressful. The curtain rail was broken, the duvets were goose so needed then changed as I'm allergic and the heaters in the bedroom and toilet did not work. No istruzione and not obvious. Long lug up the streets if you have bags. Felt very transactional, very anonymous. It's Erice.
