The best location on the west coast of Koh Phangan. Very intimate vibe and setting. Perfect sunsets. Can’t beat it.

Mattress needs replacing in bungalow, very hard.

The first days I've been staying in one of the older bungalows which was OK, but I really really loved the Thai Villa which I was staying in after. It's simply beautiful! I looooooved that they had a vegan menu on top of the normal menu and I've tried several dishes and they were all delicious. Also loved that there are only glass bottles on the property and that there is a water refill station at the reception. Oh and the staff was incredibly nice! 🤍

The beds are quite hard. I know it's the case in most places in Asia...

the rooms were really nice. Comfortable bed and a spacy bathroom. My bungalow was right at the beach and very quitet. The restaurant offered a wide selection of really good food. The staff was friendly and helpful with everything. The pool was clean and offered a lot of sunbeds as well. There is access to the beach directly from the hotel property. Over all a wonderful hotel :)

we asked to move to another hut because we didn’t want to stay with alot of children around us and the staff kindly moved us as soon as possible

the first room we were in was by the pool and it was impossible to stay over there… we had noise all through our days and nights

The resort has all that's needed for making the best of a stay in Koh Phangan: - location is ideal : midway on the west coast it's a short scooter ride (5-20 min) to most places : Thong Sala with its night market, Haad Salad beach (great for snorkeling), ChalokLum for diving, etc. It is very close to a strip full of breakfast cafes (the best is Capara), street food shacks and all kind of restaurants (incl. many vegan options). - the resort recommends a place to rent scooters. - it's on the beach and it also has a lovely restaurant that serves very interesting Thai and Asian fusion dishes (incl vegan options) - its not too big, and definitely has the Thai-Canadian touch of the family that runs it. - the swimming pool is large enough for swimming - the resort promotes sustainable tourism, incl. not everyday room service, water bottle refill station etc-. - wifi was ok. We would stay again.

Beds are hard (even by Thai hard-bed standards), but you can request a mattress topper at reception.

We´d enjoyed our stay at Sunflower Bungalows very much. The resort is on the beach, with great Heaven bar, nice restaurant and nice pool, which was big enough for swimming and jumping into the water. Amazing staff, super nice! Beautiful sunsets just few steps from our Deluxe cottage right on the beach. Great barbecue and live music every monday and friday. Shop 7/11 is very close, also massages, rental of motorbike, everything just few steps from resort. We would love to come back again. Hopefully soon!

The place is right on the beach with a great vibe. The bungalows offer a view and access to the beach. All your basic amenities are like drinking water and periodic housekeeping is part of the tariff, which is great. It's 10 steps away from 7Eleven and very close to all the best restaurants on the island.

There could've been a pick up or drop service for the price. Bathroom fittings are really old. There was low water pressure and not a lot of hot water in the shower. The room lighting is unusually dull and dingy. It's a matter of luck if your room's sliding doors lock!

Beautiful, comfy thai type villa, right on a very pretty beach, with the most awesome sunsets and wonderful views to the Ang Thong Marine Park ! The Heaven bar is a local institution, wonderful to have a nice meal and chill out at, the staff is super friendly and the general vibe is so good hearted and relaxed. Oh and there is the quintessential suoer cute, cheeky thai dog in charge of the place!

The location to the street and to the beach. I took the pool view room which was large.

The reception close at 21:00 and so is the access to the main path. You have to go behind the rooms. There is no t.v. It didn't bother me, but maybe others will.

What a nice surprise to discover this property! Our intention was to be away from the property most of the time, as we wished to explore the island. But we were so often drawn into staying "home" to enjoy time at the beach, pool and beach side restaurant. Super friendly staff and an excellent location! There are a few traditional Thai massage options right across the street and some of the best restaurants and cafes on the island only minutes away by scooter or taxi truck. Large, clean rooms. We were very happy here!
