Every day we were brought fresh bread and croissants from a local boulangerie. Exceptional hospitality

Really nice, safe and big property. There are a few rooms (4 houses overall) and it gives a more intimate experience.
We've spent 3 nights starting May 26th and we've booked 3 houses at all for 9 persons. Mine was for 3 persons and it was definitely big enough for all of us. Well decorated, nice bathroom, small but functional kitchen, really nice terrace where we spent our first and last evening and where we took our breakfast. Talking about breakfast that was a really nice experience, the owner brought us bread, butter, yoghurt, jam, cereals, French pastries and even fresh eggs (the last day) every morning and it was extremely good.
We have access to the pool, an outdoor area where we can eat (with an open kitchen). We can as well visit the small farm in the property (the fresh eggs came from there). The owner has a small dog, he's kind and playful and we really appreciate seeing him around. You can park your car in the property as well. The neighbourhood is safe and the city centre is close to the house (10 minutes walk).
We unfortunately did not visit the area because we came for a wedding but I'll of course come back and I highly recommend this place.
It was definitely perfect for me.

Even before our arrival, I was certain that this accommodation would be something special. Even so, this gorgeous place wound up exceeding my expectations.
The villa is nestled in a hilly natural setting, but still within convenient walking distance from Villeneuve's city center and restaurants.
The space is thought out with the satisfaction of its customers in mind and Thierry, the owner, is the cordial face to put to this delightful establishment. He greeted and walked us through the entire space and set the mood for what was to be a relaxing and friendly atmosphere within its grounds.
The thoughtful details, which Thierry carried out for us, like the daily "goodie bag" he left each morning for us for breakfast, with croissants, bread, and pain au chocolat, refilling our fridge with yogurt, fresh juice, and milk while we were away or inviting us to collect fresh eggs from his hen houses, went a long way in our appreciation for his hospitality.
Our lodging was charmingly decorated and practically organized to fit everything we needed for our stay, without compromising its spaciousness.
Together with the serene garden and alluring pool, the entire place exudes tranquility, privacy, harmony, and a picturesque tastefulness that is very hard to rip yourself from at the end.
On top of everything, we had lots of fun with Puce, the small jack russel terrier, who was an energetic and entertaining presence at the pool, clearly communicating he wanted us to play with him.
Our entire experience here left an indelible impression on us and we will definitely come back.

We had a great 8 night stay here. The apartment is very well set up, with TV, fridge, hob, dishwasher, microwave, separate bedroom (nice big bed) and bathroom. Also excellent air conditioning which really works (the weather is really hot in this part of France) in both bedroom and living room. Space outside with table, chairs and drying rack. Wonderfully quiet, no noise from traffic or neighbours. Towels provided, including towels for swimming pool.
The swimming pool is lovely, with lots of loungers around for relaxing.
Thierry the host is very kind and welcoming, every day he leaves a bag on the door with delicious bread and pastries for breakfast. Orange juice, tea, coffee, yoghurt are also provided in the room. Thierry’s boss is also very nice, he circles the pool keeping an eye on you while you swim and sometimes appears outside your door, which would be weird if he were a human but he is a dog, so that’s ok: Oreo, a little terrier, very sweet.
Another advantage of this property are the free parking spaces, which are inside the electric gates, so secure, and close to the apartment so no dragging luggage up any stairs.
The Villa is in a beautiful town Villeneuve-lez-Avignon, across the river from Avignon. You can walk from the Villa to the centre of Villeneuve-lez-Avignon where there are lots of restaurants in the main square and nearby streets. There are also things to see here, for us the views from the Fort St André were a highlight, again you can walk there from the Villa.
For sightseeing in Avignon, you can drive down to the banks of the river and park in a free carpark and then walk across the bridge and the Palais des Papes is close by.
The Villa is also a great base for trips to nearby towns like Uzes, L’Isle sur la Sorgue, Remy en Provence, Arles, Nimes….
The Villa is up a narrow road and on first approach we were slightly worried, but it is fine, the road is very quiet, we have a normal sized car but guests with Range Rovers and other big cars managed ok as well.

Self contained studio with all amenities provided, including kitchenette, pots/ pans, kettle, coffee maker, crockery, microwave and frig.
Fifteen minutes pleasant walk to Villeniuve village centre, restaurants/cafes, and ten minutes drive to Avignon town centre.
Room not cleaned or made up for three days we were there. Its more of a serviced apartment rather than a B&B. We had to ask for additional tea bags, coffee, milk after the first day which were not automatically replenished. Breakfast is a bag of croissants and bread rolls left in a bag at the door each morning. There is no breakfast room or lounge. Its ok if one wants to be undisturbed and on one's own.

We were made to feel very welcome.

Super breakfast delivered to our room.
Beautiful pool and use of outside kitchen was an unexpected bonus.
Nothing at all

Thierry was a fantastic host who owns a beautiful property. We were made to feel completely at home, beautiful swimming pool, generous accommodation size and the breakfast being brought to us each morning was delicious.
It was very hard to get taxis from the property so did involve a lot of walking nearby. It would be probably be better to have a hire car next time.

Very Nice swimming pool in a wonderful setting!
Bedroom only had one window, sometimes a bit cramped

The good swim pool

Fantastic breakfast every morning with a lot of food. The pool was wonderful to cool off in from the extreme heat
The beds was a bit too hard for me.

Beautifully appointed room. Several breakfast options included. Magnificent pool. Cute little dog. Very private and secluded. Lovely owner. Excellent base for exploring Avignon and surrounds.
Nothing. Cannot fault. We had a wonderful stay.
4.7
room is modern large and very clean. Pool is lovely, and external kitchen a welcome addition. Breakfast was OK
Owners are not always available, and lack knowledge about Avignon and the Festival (there is a booklet available with info in the room, but the human assistance was lacking). Beds are OK though rather narrow. The place is uphill, in a dead end street that some taxi's find hard to find. Also, it's about 15 min walk from the bus and shops, and during hot weather such as last week, going back and forth was quite exhausting.

lovely oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the city. pan au chocolat at my doorstep every morning has now made me spoiled and I am forcing my husband to bring me croissants every morning

Lovely pool area and beautiful gardens.
My private appartment was spacious and had lots of facilities for cooking and nice fridge stocked with refreshments. Each morning fresh pastries were delivered to my room, a really nice touch.

We were greeted with fresh fruit and refrigerated drinks on arrival. Fresh pastries were delivered to our door each morning for us to enjoy. We also had fun by cooking 2 fresh eggs from the hen box for breakfast! Love there bouncy little dog and the grounds are lovely and well kept.

Everything was amazing… We particularly enjoyed the basket of fresh bread left on our terrace every morning.
The kids really enjoyed the pool and looking for fresh eggs every day.
We were also allowed a late checkout.
The hostesses and their dog Orion were really friendly.
I highly recommend staying here.
Everything was amazing.

We loved everything about the Villa Dupont! The hosts, Thierry and Geraldine, are extremely kind and generous. Every morning they bring you a delicious breakfast!! The Villa is heavenly, located in a quiet and green residential area but only a short walk from Villenueve’s downtown. The town is gorgeous and full of interesting historic sites, as well as good restaurants, without any crowds! If you’re looking for more action, Avignon is a short drive or bike ride away, just across the Rhone River. Our apartment was beautifully decorated and large enough for our family of four and we all enjoyed the beautiful swimming pool. We will be back!
It would be hard to do better!
4.7
The stay was awesome. The villa is a beautiful property, very close to Avignon and at the same time away from all the brouhaha of the city especially during the festival. Pool was great and the experience for the kids memorable. The little plus for them or the lovers of fresh eggs as we are they have a little chicken coop at the end of the backyard where you can collect eggs every morning... it was overall a lovely experience for the whole family but as well for couple that stayed in the next bungalows. Thierry and Geraldine are super hosts and really helpful for any questions or accommodations. We wish them best of luck in their adventure and looking forward to come back next year.
