We had very nice stay at Tertanium. Apartment was very spacious and the food in the restaurant was delicious! All staff was very friendly and welcoming and very kind receptionost helped us with our special requests we had.

It was not very easy to find a parking slot and a room,therefore we recommend to come within reception opening hours:).

The apartment was close to the trainstation and good walking distance to lots of things that interested us. The living space and balcony were very big and there was a small kitchenette. The facilities were clean and quiet.

noise from cars on the street directly under the window we didn't receive the tourist cards for discounts in the region room upgrade was a whole apartment (useless). We would have preferred a quite room (inner side of the building) as an upgrade

Anna, the receptionist, was lovely and incredibly helpful. The room was very spacious with a kitchenette, which was a nice bonus, as I ended up using the oven for a quick meal when I was too tired to go out. The pool was heated on a cold day and wasn't crowded at all. The big "wow" moment for me was the garden/grounds--I went in spring and it was breathtaking. There are flowers everywhere, beautiful landscaping, and water features. Perfect place for a stroll or to plop down and read a book. Location is also great--just a 5 minute walk to the train and an 8 minute walk to the ferry. I highly recommend taking the ferry to Isole di Brissago while staying in Locarno--it was gorgeous! Great value for both short- and long-term stays. Comfortable for elder people, families, and all ages. Nice location, view, facilities, staffs, restaurant, and swimming pool.

Just loved the light, spacious 50 m2 apartment (an upgrade at no extra costs) with a great 180 degree view on both the lake 'Lago Maggiore' as well as as the mountains. There was an overall very pleasant vibe in the hotel and staff was super friendly. Breakfast was good too and the breakfast room (=restaurant) had a great ambiance thanks to the glass ceiling and half-circle shape. Location was pretty unbeatable, like an island in the center of Locarno.

The coffee was good but not great. The bed was a bit too hard for me and my back. I would have appreciated a thin softer layer on top of it.

Everything:huge and nice territory, facilitis, room (big and nice and clean). Location (close to train station). Totally recommended.

The check - in was super fast & we could get into the room before 12:00. The lady at the reception was really friendly. The service in the restaurant was exceptional. Nice dinner menu selections & tasty fresh breakfast. The location is number one. Highly recommended

Excellent location, spacious and clean room, beautiful park, friendly staff, tasty breakfast. I like the concept of mixing a home for the elderly with a hotel. Leads to interesting encounters. Would definitely stay again.

Upon arrival, I found the layout of the property slightly confusing. Luckily, a kind employee provided me with a map ;-).

Great location just by the train station and the lake, beautiful garden, very spacy room and terrace, a kitchen corner, swimming pool, very nice and helpful staff.

Very limited hours of reception, therefore also the access to the building, at some hotel buildings it's necessary to ask for a portable wi-fi modem, as there is no connection.

FANTASTIC!!!!!! Great house and guest room, stunning garden, very, very kind staff, in particular at reception and in restaurant. Very relaxed atmosphere. If you like to party in the premisses: don't come. This is a place with respect to the elderly people and environment. You're here to relax and appreciate the entire package. When I'm old an grey I want to live here!

Unfortunately it's not in Holland so the number of visits I can do are limited.

The room was very spacious, huge balcony and view to the Lago Maggiore. Facilities inside very beautiful with lots of green. Dogs accepted. Really nice restaurant, nice breakfast and nice staff. 5 minutes walk to the main train station in Locarno. Would definitely stay again. For those who like me were unsure at the beginning about staying at a Residence for old people for vacation: there are different blocks at this place. There were apparently some people living there but not at the building where we were, it was not crowded. They have a lot of apartments and it was worth it.

Just that they didnt put more toilet papers when doing housekeeping. Reception was closed quite early, but we could check in at the restaurant.

The location was fairly central - 5 minutes walk to downtown. The service, amazing food and facilities were excellent. The parking was inexpensive. The apartment was massive and very quiet. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The swimming pool was very clean and refreshing. The balcony had great furniture for relaxing on too.

The pool hours were limited to early morning or evenings but that was fine for me. This is also a senior care home residence so might not be for those wishing to party.

Close to the train and bus station, walking distance to the lake and the center, very spacious room and balcony, small kitchenette, beautiful garden, great swimming pool, friendly staff.

Breakfast was rather simple, it's good to be aware that the reception has limited opening hours and that this is the residential place for elderly people with the medical care.
