The beds were not very good

Lovely pool area, lots of pool beds available. Good air con, cooled the entire unit down easily. Nice croissants and coffee for morning available. Great restaurant and winery on site, we had an incredible seafood pasta. You need a car to stay here.

WIFI was really bad everywhere and didn't work at all in our unit. The kitchen is not entirely equipped, it has some stuff but missing quite a bit. They should provide dishwashing sponges and detergent, we had to go and buy our own which was annoying. This is not a complaint at all, just an FYI for English speaking tourists. Only one staff member we met briefly spoke English, we were happy using Google translate and hand signs to communicate with others in cafe, restaurant etc but if you're not comfortable doing that this is not the place for you.

We stayed in the house Rustica 4, very comfy, with big double bed and separate room for kids with single beds, our own private bathroom with shower and quite a large kitchen. Outside barbecue also available. Kids loved the pool.

Although it was written when we booked, keep in mind you have to pay extra for the towels.

Well kept place, beautiful swimming pool that was open already in May (other places pools were closed). beautiful olive trees and garden, calm and peaceful place. Good cappuccino in the bar. We loved the beautiful pool area and the atmosphere. Thank you!

It's not a minus but need a car to get to town. And it would be nice to have a possibility to order a coffee during the day (bar closed from 12-18 but may be open in the season). But one thing that we cannot get used to in South Italy is the small windows. Some days it was raining and then it was dark inside. One of the rooms didn't have a window. But I understand that during the season it's hot and then it would be perfect.

One of the best experiences for such small prices, really surprising, best of luck to you, we really enjoyed the hospitality!

We were very unhappy about our stay. We arrived and could not get in the electronic gates and no-one was answering the phone, there was a couple who had travelled from the Baltics and they were also not able to get in or get an answer. The owner of the apartments Maria, was having a private 50th Anniversary party and no-one would open the gates or available on reception or answer, and it took 1 hour to get inside even though we had given our time of arrival. The couple from the Baltics had their card refused, 3 times and were asked to pay cash which they reluctantly did. When we tried to pay with our card they said the machine was not working it was declined, we had to pay cash and then had to go and find a bank machine in the city to get some more cash which was not easy or acceptable. We checked with the bank receipt and the reason the machine was not working was it was OFFLINE not connected to the internet. There was no Kettle in in the apartment, the lady Maria seemed in a hurry to get back to the party. When we tried to have a shower there was no hot water it was cold. No internet at all We could not get anyone to help, and the next day the maid said she would speak to the owners but nothing was done at all, the water was cold and we were unable to have a shower for the 2 days of our stay. No-one was on reception at all in the 2 days we were there. We are disgusted and totally unhappy with the service. It ruined our stay after travelling 500 miles to get there it was unacceptable. We would NOT recommend anyone to stay here. We waited before leaving the review, as Booking .com said they would take it up with the owners, however nothing has been done to date not even an apology.

This is a beautifully landscaped property with pools and lovely looking restaurant on site

The toilet didn't work, there was only tepid water for a shower, the internet didn't work the first night. Communication was difficult as only 1 phone number was correct and few people spoke any English. The host appears well intentioned and responsive if you can find him but short handed and overworked.

Breakfast was excellent Restaurant/bar/pool area/setting (amongst olive groves) /kids playground were all excellent - lovely relaxed vibe Staff were brilliant. Would definitely stay here again

There may seem like quite a few below but they were minor issues and we'd definitely stay here again. Accommodation was a bit too functional. We didn't need 2 x fridge freezers. Suggest removing 1 and having a small round table instead of kitchen table as we always ate at the table outside. Then install a 2 seater sofa. Our 4 y/o had to play with his toys on the hard bedroom floor and it would have been nice to to able to relax in the apartment. Also maybe a few more essentials - there was just 1 toilet roll. We had a to buy a lot of things (ant killer, scourers, bin liners etc) and leave them behind barely used. Pillows - most were thin and hard The big fanlight window between the bathroom and the bunk room made the room very bright when using the bathroom after our 4 y/o had gone to bed. Suggest removing or have option to cover it up.

Really nice location, 5km from the city so away from all the tourist. There is a closed gate, which you can only open with your apartment key, which gives a nice sense of security, Also really nice and quit in the resort at nighttime, so no problems falling a sleep. And the pool area was super.

Villa's are a little old and not newly renovated, so don't expect luxury standards, but they are clean and have air-conditioning, and beds are fine. The kicthenette is very low equipped, only expect the essentials. But there is a stowe and you can cook meals. We had the issue that our refrigerator door was a little broke, so it made a huge noise whenever opened, but most importantly it worked

This place was nice and be sure not to book the mono rooms as they are very claustrophobic. We stayed in a 2 bed villa for 100 euros per night. We stayed 2 nights but now have gone to Amalfi and think this is a much better area as prettier and full of life still amazing beautiful tranquil places to stay. We're right now at Gocce di Capri resort. Has everything including pool and views to die for. Rooms are like apartments and beautifully decorated. Tony and Ali from Norfolk UK.

Lack of choice of snacks to eat unless you want sour dough bread with cheese and Italian sausage. You can only have so much. Restaurant is nice but expensive and too gourmet.

Very brief welcome with no information about the place. Sink didn't drain, shower had no pressure, towels were thin - more like t.towels - and the room was very noisy from neighbours, thin walls and noisy bathroom

Comfortable bed

Very basic apartment, not as shown in the photos. The apartment bedrooms didn’t have any windows and it was very dark. No toiletries provided. At check-out, they tried to charge the city tax twice. Overall, a disappointing experience.

The location was awesome. Free from all disturbances. Peaceful environment. Spent a great time in swimming pool. You will definitely enjoy staying in Padre Pio
