It’s beauty , history and aura

Everything our room was lovely, used the pool and sauna.Our view was the house vineyards the pool was a god send due to the heat of the day.There was no restrictions on the use of the pool which was great.There was an honesty bar, vineyard wines, water, beer soft drink all available for you.One had full use of the fully equipped kitchen and dining facilities.Food at breakfast was delicious and good quality and quantity.There were 2 different hostesses who were very knowledgeable and helpful.

Nothing to dislike. Just take care with the sat nav ours took us to a dirt road to the chateau whereas there was a hardcore road available.Both were sign posted to the hotel, so if you see a small white sign post DON’T take it if you value your suspension.

it was beautifully decorated, old chateau meets modern. We basically had the place to ourselves, the host and hostess were very welcoming. Only had one night there, would have liked more! Loved it!

The Internet WiFi is absolutely appallingly slow. I was getting on average 1.2mb down load and 0.2mb upload, way below the even a normal speed. This wasn't ad ised in the booking. I strongly recommend the owners looks into a star link system. The GSM signal is also patchy so don't go to this hotel if you need reliable Internet which I do. The breakfast was OK and not assdvertised as superd. No eggs the first morning. The spa was not as expected. The steam room not switched on when we arrived so we could not use it. After 7 hrs it was ready which was OK. we went for a walk fpr 2 hours, when returned it it had automatically swithced off and was cold amd unusable. The staff had left so we couldn't use it that evening. One of the main reasons for choosing this hotel was the spa.

The scenery is wonderful. The big open spaces, lovely living / dining area and a cute room to stay. I really loved the breakfast.

I was there in January and the AC is used as a heater. The problem is, that it was a little bit to weak to fill the complete room. Secondly, the Sauna was not getting really hot. I guess this can easily be fixed with some better isolation.

Fantastic facilities. Exceptionally well designed guest house. Beautiful setting and wonderful hosts. Real luxury at a very affordable cost. Highly recommend.
