Very clean. Plenty of space and layout very comfortable. Everything we needed in the Kitchen. Beds very comfortable and felt new and fresh.

Location was perfect for exploring the area.

Lovely quiet cottage at the heart of Buchan Valley Village. Very close to the Buchan caves and the beautiful walking trails. Surrounded by beautiful walking paths, the cafe, the hotel restaurant and the gas station. The house is large and cosy.

The cottage was clean and comfortable. We loved staying here and will be back.

Not the fault of the cottage, but WiFi would be nice.

Fantastic, homely cottage with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Unfortunately we only had 1 night but if we are ever passing through Buchan again, this is where we'll stay.

Location is very good, close to the Buchan Caves and the local pub where they have excellent meals. The cottage was adorable and very comfortable. A well maintained property. It was a pleasure to stay there.

Perfect accommodation in an great quiet location, plenty of space in the garden for the kids to play, lovely and clean, toys for kids and DVDs. Plenty.of pillows, blankets and a well equipped kitchen.

Another chair for the inside dining table would be handy as there were 5 of us staying, but we just used one for outside so no real issues.

Oozing with charm, it was a very comfortable stay. As a city dweller it was great to be invited to forage in the garden for produce to cook and use. Lovely balcony too

Everything was thought through. Whatever we needed was there!

The lack of central heating was a little confronting for us. There was a column heater provided that allowed for one room but not the other.

A bit cold at nights when temperatures below 7 degrees. Yes we found the radiator extra heater, but on cold nights it takes time to pick up and living area was cold but we found plenty of extra blankets so it was ok.

Lovely cottage. Right in the middle of town, which was perfect for a quick one-night stop in the beautiful township of Buchan. It had everything I needed for a comfortable night.
