Lovely medium sized room with view towards the amazing garden. Comfortable brightly coloured seating area and a natural laminate or vinyl floor. Very nice rustic bar and breakfast area. Location was great, a stroll away from the town centre but quietly tucked away around the corner, opposite a beautiful canal.

Sitting at breakfast was a bit too close towards the buffet area. The start was too late at 8am as it meant that everybody came at the same time and it was too busy. The floor tiles in the bathroom had some limescale and the bathroom in general was a bit basic.

The location is excellent looking over the canal & an easy walk to the Town Centre. The room was large as was the bathroom & the hotel is in a quiet location. The parking is located at the rear of the building. An excellent continental breakfast.

The location is perfect, and the room is totally out of my expectations. From the websites, the hotel looks small, but they have many fancy buildings behind it. They also have loverly bike parking areas which you can leave safely. The staff members are super patient.

The hotel was very nice. We had a modern spacious room and it was very clean. Our view over the garden was lovely. The location was great for accessing restaurants and shops. There was a secure covered space for our bikes. The breakfast was very good and the morning staff were friendly.

The front desk man at check in was not the most friendly.

Quaint hotel well situated,my room was a bit small and the decor quite dated,but very clean.Linen good quality,but not as comfortable.Breakfast was excellent.

I really enjoyed my stay,most of the staff friendly and accommodating, unfortunately this can not be said about the owner.

Very clean room, spacious private parking with charging station for electrical car. I have made a mistake with my booking and had to leave very early and the owner (?) was very flexible/accomodating.

From the moment of check-in, the owner was rude and uncooperative. I intended to bring my racing bike into the room for security, which he reacted extremely strongly to. After a short conversation he told me he didn’t want me as a guest anymore. I’ve stayed in a LOT of hotels and have never ever experienced such an unfriendly and unwelcome person. I would not recommend anyone to consider staying at this venue.

Very well set out hotel with a nice attributes from the historic building sense to the individual care and attention the staff gave. Very nice definitely go back again!
