The new owners of Stannards are super friendly people. They go above and beyond to make sure your stay is the best possible. The garden is lushiously green and big, and very well maintained. Sometimes monkeys in the trees! No fun for the owners, but we enjoyed seeing them a lot!! The staff is super friendly, everything was very clean.

The place is a bit outdated, but they are working very hard on renovation, and it's still definitely nice and comfortable enough!

Pleasant location and the apartment was set in a peaceful garden. Also nice to use the sparkling pool!

Had everything one could need for a short self catering stay. The owner kindly let us use her freezer in the main house.

I liked that the location of the cottage was very private and it was equipped with everything we needed. The garden is breathtakingly beautiful. The hosts Lezelda and daughters are very friendly and did a great job.

The distance from the parking area to the cottage is a bit far especially if you have a lot of luggage or if you did some shopping. You will have to make a couple of trips to the car and back.

Quiet location.

Door seems in need of maintenance.

Nice to have electric blankets

Room very cold, needs rugs better heating, no coffee only tea, thin small towels, only 5 tv channels and a sports channel controlled from the bar .

Reading lamps.

Breakfast was a disappointment. Really not nearly up to four star standards. Water in the bathroom was only like warm. No decaf coffee in the room. No fridge in the room.
