The location is perfect, the staff are very helpful and really genuinely kind!

It was very hot, and with no air conditioning difficult to sleep. But it did cool down later in the evening and opening the windows helped

Centrally located, with atmosphere. City centre just around the corner.

Due to the location a little louder in the evening hours, but if you keep the windows closed, even that isn't a real problem.

bathroom lighting would be nice to be less white/bright but also have a warm option. Many standard TV channels did not work.

It was a wonderful stay. The staff was absolutely outstanding: quick, kind, ready to answer any question one might have. The room was big and the bed comfortable - if only, a little too soft, but it is matter of personal preference. I wish to recommend the restaurant: the service and food make you feel royalty.

The room was spacious, quiet and big, yet some of the furniture is quite old and worn out, for a four star hotel.

The room was so nice, comfortable and welcoming. You just wanted to stay there. The staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. There were many signs that this is a hotel where the owners are proud of it.

One of the most exceptional hotels I've ever been to: the 19th century flavor of its architecture and the spirit of the old town are very vivid in it, but these features are well-balanced by a spacious room, with all comforts one would expect. Highly recommendable for people visiting Goettingen.

Way over priced for a small city in Germany.

the decor of room was impeccable and made me feel royal. The breakfast spread was sumptuous and my request for making omlette was happily accepted. The hotel lobby was nicely decorated . The overall style of hotel was super royal.

We specifically booked this hotel because of the spa facilities. But the hotel told us literally when we were already traveling to it, that the spa was in renovation. We are sure that WITH a functioning spa the hotel is good value for money and very nice however we would noty have booked it for the price had we known the spa was not open. Another less important issue - we found the mattresses on the bed a bit to soft, although otherwise bvery comfy.

Central location, secure parking, large room, good breakfast, extremely polite and helpful reception staff, nicely kept hotel.

Room was very warm, so windows needed to be opened to let cooler air in.
