The room was amazing, with such a great view, and comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. The bar had the best view and was so lovely to sit.
I thought the breakfast was a little expensive for what it was. We did the buffet on the last day and had room service on the others. The fact that you have to pay for sun loungers and towels as a hotel guest is outrageous. We didn't like that,

Amazing hotel and location is close to the water, staffs were very friendly and bedroom was great
Facilities are limited and room design, even it is amazing however it is French renaissance design, like lots of colour and old style so if you were not a big fan, design wise might not to your taste but room is great

The hotel boasts impressive views of the coast and the nearby Juan Les Pins town - the outside bar and breakfast area are very pretty and picturesque. The hotel interior and exterior are impressive, and exude the art deco inter-war period vibe. The beach area was free when we were staying (end of October). The staff ensure that the hotel is up to expectations and above: the evening concierge and lobby attendant were an excellent team and took care of all guests perfectly. The breakfast was very expensive but the food was very high quality, especially the very correctly scrambled eggs, bacon and other options. The Michelin star restaurant serves excellent food. Connection to Antibes proper is very good: by foot or by public transport.
Our room had aircon devices running just below our windows, on the ground floor. With windows open we had to accept the constant buzz of the aircon units outside just below. The bathroom had no shower - just a bath with a shower head and a glass screen. That would have been perfectly ok, however, the glass screen is not fitted correctly and lets water through. So when you shower, a small river of water is just flowing on your floor. The breakfast food was of the highest quality, however, the options were kind of limited and I expected better croissants and other pastries, for the price - these were not up to standard. These are very minor points.

Location of hotel ,terrace for meals, private seaside , nice weather , warm water in see and very helpful staff- there is everything to catch summer in middle of October!!!
We would like a bit more french cuisine in menu…

It was the first night of our honeymoon - the staff were so thoughtful and generous. We loved every moment - it really is the perfect hotel - beautiful, clean, comfortable and exceptional service. As good as it gets...
Nothing - there is not a single thing I would change. Perfection.

The location and setting was beautiful.
The bed was too short, too hard and the pillows were uncomfortable.
The room was very loud as it was on the street.

The location was great, the staff were polite and helpful and the breakfast was good
Unfortunately this hotel is over-priced and hanging onto the coat tails of its history.. Whilst it’s location is good, it doesn’t live up to its five stars and cost as it doesn’t have the quality in all areas for that rating. The beds are hard, the additional costs for everything including sun-loungers (and even beach towels) were a joke (€25-40pp and €6 for a towel!). The sewage system smell came through the toilet into the bedroom and the hot water was hit and miss. Overall we were very disappointed with our stay and whilst the hotel staff were kind and attentive, it is in need of upgrade and a change of pricing. The only reason it works at the moment is because of the status of its restaurant and it has an older clientele who clearly like the ambiance which masks it’s inadequacies - some have been mentioned above but in addition: the pool is located in a sister hotel five minutes walk away along with a gym and sauna. The former is very small with only one treadmill, cross-trainer and rowing machine.

Charming property with a great sea view and outdoor terrace in Antibes. Staff were helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Location is great, very close to Eden Roc and the town.
Breakfast was average.
Would be nice to have a gym and/or pool on the property.
Have to pay for sun-beds, it should be included for hotel guests.

The location and atmosphere were excellent. so fun! the terrace was our daily break and dinner. music most evenings. the action was at the beach. we enjoyed the water skiing, swimming and overall experience.
the history and original decor.

The food - please more respect for high quality French cuisine. A hotel like this - I want to have less choice for breakfast and far better French patrimoine quality - eg a relationship with a local top class boulangerie to deliver the best quality butter flaky croissants ditto the baguette (not mini pop in the oven patisseries found everywhere in the world and in the supermarket). We also had drinks on the terrace (why not serve olives instead of packet nuts); and local juicy fresh tomatoes and fresh melon instead of one or two cherry tomatoes (minable). French dressing anyone? Nope. This is a speciality as is salade frisée or even romaine instead of packet salad baby leaves. Happy to pay extra for quality, when charged more here than elsewhere when the price matches the quality - casual food in the evening on the terrace really needs to raise its standards.

As someone who has wanted to stay at this hotel for years I was glad I got the chance. It definitely screams opulence and wealth and the location right on the water is breath taking.
We were kingly given a free room upgrade and had some delicious food!
The only downside was you had to pay for the sun beds by the water. Normally this wouldn’t be a problem but the cost of 2 sun beds and 2 towels was the same coat as lunch at the beach club
Also the service during the day is not up to 5 star standard. However special mention to the staff at the Fitzgerald Bar in the evening as they were excellent
