Absolutely perfect! Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Restaurant is incredible. We cannot wait to come back here!

when I booked I asked for a reservation in the restaurant, when we arrived we discovered that although the restaurant was in the hotel it was under different management and nothing had been reserved and we could not get a booking, the hotel staff were worse than useless in helping with this.The hotel is miles from anywhere so don't stay here!!

It would have been good to be informed that the restaurant (both dinner and breakfast) should be paid separately in the restaurant. When I paid the bill in reception the morning of departure, I noticed that the amount was much too low and asked them to check what had happened - was only then told that I could not pay for everything at the reception, but needed to pay in the breakfast room. If I hadn't checked the amount (and I sometimes don't) we would have left without paying for dinner and breakfast ....... and that was certainly not our intention.

The 'vibe' of the room and the relaxed vibe in the hotel itself. The airconditioning in the room and its generous size. Also the staff was very friendly!

The extremely dusty rock surface to park the car on (it makes the interior of the car extremely dirty with white dust).

We were not able to eat in the restaurant for dinner as we had not reserved in advance. We didn't realize we needed to make a reservation. The breakfast buffet was good, but items had run out (juices, cups) and were either not replaced or slow to be replaced.

Just stayed one night on a stop over - great modern, spacious clean room, nice bathroom. The adjoining restaurant was exceptional, beautiful setting and seriously good food. Breakfast was great too, lots of lovely choices. A great value little find in a calm secluded spot.

Maybe some nicer sun loungers?

everything was fine

The pool was great, although a little cold since it was early in the season. Our room was large ( a family suite) and had two bathrooms which was lovely with four people. The little village really welcomed us and made us feel like friends.

We wish we had known that there were tennis rackets and balls for the tennis court and a boule set available behind the reception desk.

Location and size of room. Receptionist was very personable and helpful.

The Queen room was the largest in the hotel. It had been refurbished but not to a high standard. Light fitting not fixed properly. Bathroom door had no handles - holes instead! Door handle to room was loose and several screws fell out. Handle to patio door was missing. View from window was mostly of a roof and chimney. Receptionist was apologetic and promised to point these failures out to the attention of the manager.

A great place to stay. Newly decorated and well maintained. Strong recommendations!

Pool should have been available since May 1 but it was still out of function during our visit.

there was no hairdryer No mini fridge the doors seemed unfinished, there were small holes on all the wooden doors but no handles (I guess it is just being refurbished but it seemed the work was not finished) There was no staff at the reception so had to look for someone in the restaurant every time in the end left the keys on the counter when I left room 101 has view of the roof of the restaurant with the fumes from the chimney pillows not very comfortable
