Ideal for one night break on a journey

Breakfast was well organised with plenty of choice.

We have a little dog so we were given a room with a small outside space. Unfortunately our dog is so small she was able to get under the fence. Not a problem once we knew and not a major problem as she couldn’t go out for long because of the heat.

Always plenty of parking spaces. Check in was very easy and our requested room was available. The manager who was covering reception was very helpful and put our fridge and freezer items away as required. We always ask for extra pillows and these were already in the room which I believe was due to Marta sorting this even though she was not working on the day of our arrival. Ideally situated for exploring the town of Alfaro. Also well placed for the AP 15 travelling North or down to Zaragoza and on to Valencia etc

We were used to having a fridge in the room but it was not available this time

Bar & food availability. Comfy bed. Welcomes dogs & room had a balcony for dogs to go out on. Very friendly receptionist. Clean, although bathroom sealant discoloured & shower head moved around.

Location. Very tight car parking. Pet friendly but no where to let dogs off.

The location is excellent, it has a huge parking outside, so it makes it very convenient. They have an enoteca downstairs which is nice and just next door there is a great local product shop where you can buy some amazing wine and cheese etc

I had to change rooms because there was a terrible smell of food in the first one, and even when I opened the window, there was the kitchen chimney coming out to my balcony, so it wasn't even possible to ventilate the room. The receptionist wasn't too welcoming to change it at the beginning saying the hotel was full, but thankfully she did in the end and the other room was totally fine. The beds are not the most comfortable.

We have stayed at this hotel numerous times over the past 7-8 years, its location suits us well for our onward journey. It has free parking : rooms are always a good standard: pleasant staff: decent breakfast: Although we did not have breakfast this time for reasons below.

We went to the bar cafeteria, which is always normally great for tapas meals drinks etc. I had a Caesar Salad which tasted okay but some hours later, I woke up feeling sickly and needed the toilet urgently. I did not mention this to receptionist, as I thought what could she do. Hence we didn't have breakfast as I still felt queasy. However it would not put us off staying here again, but I would be rather mindful on what I choose to eat.

Everything was just excellent. The staff was extremely helpful. the room is very comfy, and the breakfast abundant.

We've stayed at the Palacios many times over the last fifteen years and it has never let us down. Warm friendly staff, spotlessly clean everywhere and good food for breakfast and dinner. Always great value for money. Very dog friendly.

The room was a good size and clean with very comfortable bed the breakfast in the hotel was excellent good choice and plenty of it

The only downside was the restaurant/bar did not offer a dairy free option and the choice was limited

Very clean room with a comfortable bed. Clean bathroom. Very good breakfast arrangements with a lovely lady looking after the guests. I'll be back!

Small point, there was no tea or coffee making facility but I carried my own anyway.

The attached restaurant was full of locals with their screaming kids. Food was poor but cheap. If you came too late, you would have to queue for food and struggle to sit. Better to walk 200 yards to a nice Spanish Restaurant.
