Staff excellent. Amazing decor of communal areas. Breakfast was very good. Location ideal.

Rooms were relatively functional compared to how lavish the building was. TV should be smart enabled nowadays so that Netflix etc.. can be accessed.

We had a three night stay at the Grand Hotel Casselbergh and can only describe it as fabulous. Every aspect of our stay was exceptional from the beautiful communal areas to the rooms themselves. Every one of the staff team that we encountered were friendly, courteous and professional. We really cannot fault this hotel in any way.

Grand Hotel Casselbergh Brugge was a such a gem. The staff was helpful, and our room was beautifully furnished, clean and comfortable. The location is excellent for Old Town Brugge. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, or to recommend it for those who are willing to pay a bit more for a great experience.

Beds: We had the typical Euro two separate beds as our "double" bed, which also means split/half comforters. We don't prefer this, but knew it was likely. The mattress was comfortable. The pillows are possibly too big, which is the opposite problem from most hotels. Shower: Very small shower. Large tub, which we didn't use. Would love to have a bigger shower and skip the tub! Breakfast: There was a lot to be offered at breakfast, and what we tried was good, but not great. We ordered cappuccino the first day and the coffee was terrible. We enjoyed the fruit and eggs, which is all we are looking for before a day of sightseeing. If it hadn't been included in the rate, we wouldn't pay $32 per person for it, though. Bar: There is a lot of seating at the bar, plus large lounges on either side of the bar room, which was nice. Drink prices were high, even for Brugge.

The hotel was impressive looking, our room was very quiet and recently renovated so it was in very good condition. I would recommend this hotel. The location is very good.
