authentic French hotel with excellent facilities and great location

breakfast was the same everyday and although there were choices it was limited .

hotel was beautiful and in central location. very cosy.

Not all the staff made us feel welcome.

Locatie

.Very noisy. Early morning the staff started to shove around tables and chairs in the breakfast area in a very noisy way on the concrete floor, just below the first floor where we had our room. We woke up because of it and couldn't sleep any more. Really annoying and inconsiderate

the location was fantastic, the spa/swimming pool were great

it felt like we were intruding as there were dogs running around, a small black and white dog woke us up early barking at something outside

Breakfast a little poor (yogurts out of date 2 days running!)

Lady on reception was a bit grumpy and not overly helpful - where do we catch the free bus to Montriond question was met with a very confusing and wrong answer that cost us an hour on the Sat afternoon). What is going on with the bar / restaurant - no action there whatsoever, despite the winning position. Odd.

Hotel was in a great location, right next to pleney lift and also central to all amenities. The hotel had everything we needed for a great stay and the staff were very friendly and helpful

the curtains in the room did not fit they we far to short. fac ring the Main Street the street light are bright all night so we could not sleep.

Very central location, right next to Pleny lift and less than 5 mins walk to central Morzine. Cosy feel and friendly staff.

During the night there was a lot of noise from people on the street, having their party and/or waiting for their bus transport. Therefore make sure you have a room at the backside .

The food at the hotel was very good, especially the desserts. Their pastry chef is talented. Good variety & choice at breakfast. The location of the hotel is perfect for Le Pleney ski lift; literally across the road from it. This was a benefit for skiing without having to traipse around in ski boots for hours. Easy access to Morzine center as well for a variety of shops and places to eat and get coffee & hot chocolate. The jacuzzi at the hotel was always hot and had good bubble & fountain toggles. The rooms were cleaned well every day. The request to only replace towels left on the floor was respected which was great as we've often found towels get replaced every day anyway even if not left on the floor. The ski storage room was well located, had heated boot driers, and felt secure as you needed your room key to get into it. The hotel dogs & cat made it feel homely.

The hotel was advertised as having spa facilities which it does, but they only operate between 17:00 - 19:30 every 2nd or 3rd day and on opposite days to each other. So we never got to use the sauna or steam room. The pool was fine, but needed a clean. Separate towels for the pool are not provided. The mattresses on the beds need replacing as they were severely dipped in the middle, making them uncomfortable. The ski storage room was in need of repair and a good clean. The room smelled damp and rank. The doors to the boot cupboards were falling off and many didn't close properly. The location of the hotel is literally across the road from Le Pleney ski lift. This was a benefit for skiing, not so good for getting a peaceful nights sleep as the lift operated most of the night and the ski plows were frequently going past.
