the rooms and bathrooms are always clean! The hostel has a common area where you can meet new people and make friends. We went out every night with Sofi that was always smiling and making us have fun!

I liked that there was a rule about quiet time and very good security.

The bathroom facilities were not the best, it would have been nice to have a towl in there after washing your hands

Easy check in, staff is very nice and welcoming. Great location just short walk to everything. The view from the rooms is beautiful. The apt is spacious and very clean and nicely kept.

Nice people and rooms, central, Terrace, friendly stuff especially Sofi. She is an amazing host. I have only extened my Trip in Villa Zorana because of Sofi. Thank you Sofi , you made my stay special. Also the owner was really nice and helped me with all my questions. Thanks!

It was an extremely good value—more like a hotel than a hostel. The host was extremely helpful and responsive—he picked me up when my ferry arrived late at night in another town, and also charged me fairly for repairs when I got into an accident with one of his rental scooters.

Really the only negative thing I can say is that the room decor was a little dated, and the room was fairly plain. But considering what I paid for it, I wouldn't have expected it to be anything fancy.

Very friendly staff and they gave us a free upgrade with a lovely sea-view balcony AND free ice cream on arrival! Adam at the scooter rental place round the corner was super friendly and showed us the best places to visit.

The location was ideal - walking distance to the harbour and all main areas of Hvar Town. The room was spacious with a nice balcony and air con.

Beds were uncomfortable, people coming back to the room at all hours having sex in the bathroom in the dorm. Would not recommend if you’re a solo traveller who is looking for a quiet place to stay that’s affordable. Thought it was very expensive for what you get, couldn’t even sit up in the bunk

There is not enough showers: 1 for men and 1 for women for two dorms. Adding curtains to the beds would be better, especially since many people come back very late from partying (at 1am, I was still alone in my 6 beds dorm). I understand the rule of quiet time, but the common area is outside. I think it's quite extreme to ask to people to leave the common area at 10pm, even though they could be just chatting and not being loud. What are we supposed to do then: go chat inside the bedroom where people could be sleeping?

Had a wonderful stay. A highlight was the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff - especially Joe, she made my stay here very pleasant and was always answering any questions I had about the hostel. Met a lot of cool people.

Loved the location and the friendly volunteers that clean and run the pub crawl. Very welcoming and sociable hostel will stay again!

I found the hostel very good for solo traveler, great possibility to meet people, at night everyone goes out together on a "pub crawl" organized by the girls of the hostel. in addition, the bedroom and kitchen are clean, the common area is very pleasant. Special thanks to Joe and Emily for welcoming me so well and making my experience on Hvar even better.

The place is known to be a 'party hostel', so don't book a dorm room if you're not up for late nights. If you are, it's a great place. The 6-bed dorm room I stayed in was clean and spacious. The rooms have their own toilet and bathroom, which are also surprisingly comfortable and clean. The place has a nice covered terrace with outside kitchen, where most people hang out in the evening to have drinks and laughs. At 10 pm, you need to be quiet though (which is completely understandable, since there are also neighbours and people who want to sleep), so you can move to the centre nearby if you don't feel like sleeping yet. The centre is easy to reach and about a 10 minutes walk.

If you need your night rest or aren't in the party mood, you probably shouldn't stay in one of the dorm rooms. The dorm rooms face the outside terrace and have a sliding door. Because you can very easily get in and out of your room this way, no one of the guests thought about closing the door with their keys. If you would lock the door, some people would probably have been locked out because it didn't seem like people were taking their keys with them. I don't really mind, because I never leave valuable things behind in my room, plus I think stealing in hostels is quite rare (too many risks of getting busted, not a lot of valuable things to be found in backpackers bags...), but if you are worried about safety, again, you better not book a dorm room.

Lovely staff that had a very warm welcome, with cold water and some ice. Also pretty easy to meet other people.

Very small and crowded rooms. Which makes it really inconvenient when anyone comes in late or has to get up early. There were and not enough showers/toilets (2 for at least 12 people, but I believe they were for the others guests as well).
