The room has all the charm of old, rustic, and traditional, and all the convenience of modern and efficient. The host is most gracious and speaks perfect English and Spanish. The village is a gem, one of the most beautiful in all of Spain indeed. There are multiple well marked glorious hiking trails. The breakfast is varied, abundant, and of excellent quality.

I consider the price a bit too high

A lovely cosy hotel in a beautiful mountain village. We were made to feel very welcome. We would definitely recommend and hope to return again soon.

The inn was beautiful and clean. The innkeeper was so very kind. He helped me to find the perfect trail to hike, and in late afternoon, he called to make sure I was not lost. He then had a fire burning in the fireplace when I returned.

We enjoyed our stay with our dog and our littlun. Lovely people. A beautiful setting and a beautiful hotel.

There was nothing we didnt like at the hotel ,which was very nice and I would recommend the hotel as excellent value for money. The problem is more like the access to the nearest car park through extremely narrow cobbled streets. However this is to be expected in Candelario as its an ancient and beautiful mountain village. Please note that their superb restaurant is only open at weekends so reservation highly recommended

Really authentic place, tucked away in a mountain village. Comfortable communal lounge where Gabriel owner/manager lit me a lovely wood fire. Excellent restaurant and breakfast.
