The apartment is very attractive, comfortable and spacious and the hosts are very nice people.

People should be aware that there are 47 steps from your car down to the apartment and then a lot more steps from the apartment down to the town. There is no parking on site, where you unload your car is residents parking only. However the steps do take you right into the centre of town.

The hosts are the warmest and kindest people we met on our trip, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. From greeting us with homemade cookies and wine, and allowing us to check in quite early as it was raining and unseasonably chilly. They truly made us feel welcomed. Apartment 4 was absolutely beautiful, well appointed and perfect for 3 adults. We wished we’d had better weather to enjoy the balcony and view!

We had a bit of trouble with the toilet not working in the studio, but our hosts truly did everything they could to address the situation, which was really out of their control and required a plumber to visit.

The apartment was exactly as described on the site, it exceeded what I expected. It was very clean and airy. The host met us to show us to the apartment, the bedrooms were comfortable and clean. The apartment had all the items one would need for a comfortable stay. The hosts made contact with us to ensure we were settlted. They gave us addittional information on things to do in Korcula. We were situated very close to the old town, 5-10 minute walk, 5 minute walk from the ferry. Korcula itself is a beautiful location, ideal break from busy city life, vrey calm and peaceful (May 2023). We were greeted with homemade cookies and homemade wine which was very unexpected beautiful touch. I would highly recommend Karisma Apartments.

The only issue was the steps up with suitcases but hey its Croatia and its part of the landscape of the country but once settled in apartments, it was not an issue.

The host had excellent restaurant recommendations and was of great help. He went way beyond to make our long-weekend comfortable and memorable.

The photos are misleading. The property was dated and did not feel as freshly decorated as pictured. The flat smelt musty on arrival and while the bed was comfy, it only had blankets and sheets, no duvet. Furnishings felt like left overs from a home redecoration not a professional set up. On the 3rd day I started noticing bug bites and ended up absolutely covered by the end of my visit. Mentioned this to the host and was dismissed as mosquito bites. Spoke to a pharmacist who suspected they were bed bugs bites as they are in lines/ zig zags and location(did also get bitten by mosquitoes). Be wary, I’m not convinced the hosts will make sure there’s not an infestation. Having to deep clean all my luggage and contents professionally to avoid bringing bugs home. Not a good end to my trip.

Large and airy with spectacular views. 2 toilets! Great location close to old town. Very responsive hosts.
