Quiet, good location to reach all the nearby villages and beaches. Green territory and new swimming pool. Facilities were clean and comfy, good beds.

A small playground for kids would be a welcome addition to the facilities of this propertly.

Bedroom tiny - not enough space on each side of the bed to get in or out comfortably. nowhere to put a water bottle on one side of bed. outside furniture not comfortable and a bit tatty. Breakfast poor. fruit salad tasted off. lack of plates and cutlery. egg cooker very slow

Lovely pools, food, and staff

Location is not good if you have no car or bike.

Everything was excellent. Lovely staff, room and place.

The modern, modular apartments are clean, very new and spacious with a well equipped kitchen, copious towels and lovely crisp linen. The two swimming pools were fabulous, maintained at an ideal temperature. I swam at 10 am and again at 7.30 pm. In the immediate vicinity there are no shops but a five minute drive away there are many large shops including three supermarkets. It is a 20 minute drive to pretty La Rochelle, and a 40 minute drive, over the bridge, to the picturesque Ile de Re. The staff were very courteous and helpful e.g. with parking suggestions for La Rochelle. The whole complex was fairly quiet, which suited us.

On arrival we were shown to one of their original, and hence old , apartments , with tight steep steps up to the bedrooms, which was not the ones shown on the web site. However with no fuss we were switched to one of the new spacious units.

lovely accommodation, very close to beach, on site restaurant- food excellent, heated swimming pool was great . Host ,Axel ,was very friendly and helpful, as were the reception staff.

a little out of the way if you want a lively resort

Great location, with a nice welcome and good facilities. Rooms are spacious and clean with all you need. Nice comfy beds. Good secure parking and plenty of dining options on site.

I started using this accommodation for stopovers some years ago. The rooms and outside private deck areas are now starting to look a bit tired and in need of refurbishment.

Really nice and comfortable, super cosy, great big walk in shower and has heated towel rail which was really handy.

The spiral stairs in the apartments are quite tricky, especially for older people.

No privacy at all. Constant maintenance work throughout our stay, often intrusive. We complained several times, once actually finding a worker right outside our terrace window at 8am! Huge, noisy building site right next to us. We contacted Ocean on our return, but they have not had the courtesy to reply. Food was mediocre and expensive for what it was. The beach was far more than 200m down a main road and across a railway. We would sadly not recommend this to anyone

The pools and staff is friendly.

This resort is no longer the small and creative resort it used to be (we also vistited 5 years a go) The restaurant now has many options but the quality could be better. We stayed in the old part of the resort and these cottages really need an upgrade, they are damp and out dated (chairs are chipped, mould on the outside sofa cushions) Breakfast is the same everyday and products are not fresh/organic. All in all the resort seems a bit lost in respect of the kind of resort they want to be and service they want to provide.

The air conditioning didn’t get to the bedrooms upstairs & some mosquitoes got in.

The accommodation, food and pools were all great and were perfect for our family.

the accommodation was tired and in need of updating. It was on a par with the old travelodge hotels in the uk. broken tiles in the bathroom, rust all around the fixings, very basic accommodation, weeds where there should be flowers and dirty marks on the ceiling and walls where previous people had swatted spiders! definitely not worth the money and certainly not boutique hotel accommodation! breakfast was very poor and we didn’t eat any evening meals there. such a shame, but the accommodation did not live up to the glossy marketing!
