From the moment we arrived we experienced nothing but kindness and generosity. The “little” extras that were there waiting for us was such a treat and very thoughtful. The property was extremely clean and spacious and the garden was simply beautiful. It was a very quiet and tranquil property with red squirrels to enjoy watching especially in the morning hours! We got more than we paid for with so many memories. Thank you Robert and Susan!

The property is stunning facing the bay. The VRBO was even nicer than what was listed. Robert went out of his way to make sure our stay was wonderful. He provided so many amenities and even had food in the fridge for us when we arrived which was nice after our long travel from the states. Our bedrooms with wonderful sitting areas were beautiful and we each had our own personal bathrooms. The VRBO had a beautiful outdoor sitting area facing the bay. We even had our own designated parking space! Most of all we found Robert and his wife to be the most gracious hosts. We definitely recommend this VRBO when coming to Scotland. You will not be disappointed!

We spent 4 nights in Braemore Apt and loved every minute of it. Robert and Susan are the hosts ever! Robert picked us up at the train station in Dundee and we felt welcome from the the first minute. The apt is spacious and comfortable with the most magnificent view if the river! The kitchen was stocked with starter portions of eggs, milk, cheese, juice and ham along with a variety of cereal to please any taste. There were plenty of dishes, pots and pans. There was every appliance you could possibly need. There was a washer in the kitchen with enough detergent to keep us clean. Our hosts invited us to enjoy their beautiful garden and we gladly did so.
It was only a short walk into the village of Newport where we picked up additional supplies. We were given rides to St Andrews and Dundee. We came home one day to fresh strawberries and raspberries from a local farm.
I can’t say enough about the hosts and the accommodations that they offered. Beds were super comfy. We did jot want for anything. Definitely a 5 star experience. Highly recommend.

Breathtaking views of the river and Dundee.
Excellent hosts supplied nice pantry supplies for our first night and next morning.
Perfect location for our golf at St Andrews.

Lovely stay at Braemore. the rooms were a great size for a family of four with plenty of storage. The views were stunning and it was an ideal location for exploring Fife and Dundee. Robert was very welcoming and good at answering any queries we had. Thank you 😀

Spotlessly clean, beautiful views and very pleasant hosts. The extra touches were much appreciated, cheese, milk and butter in fridge; bread, biscuits, cereals, tea, coffee, etc. Plenty kitchen utensils. Would recommend to anyone, with or without children. Well located, not too far to many visitor attractions.

The location of the property is stunning - the photographs do not do it justice. Everything from a superb Welcome Pack is there and more, much more. From here access to St Andrews (do eat at the Greyfriars Inn)and other places of interest in the Fife area is so easy. Dundee is across the bride and the city has so much to offer - the V&A, the McManus and Science Museums, cafes, restaurants and more besides. Robert is an excellent Host and Susan manages their lovely garden.

Trip to the Open
Robert and Susan are the nicest hosts I have ever experienced. Helpful and informative as well.The property is on the 2nd floor of a very nice home on the south bank of the River Tay across from Dundee. The view is beautiful. Comfortable,spacious bedrooms and functional restrooms and a nice small kitchen. Unfortunately we picked a stay when the weather was extremely warm, even hot. There were 2 nice Dyson fans in each room but that wasn't enough. Possibly a couple of small window A/C units or even ceiling fans would help on the infrequent occasion that the weather is hot. Otherwise one of the BEST properties I've ever had. Thank you Robert

Awesome views and great hospitality
This was our 2nd visit this lovely property. Easy walk into Newport-on Tay and a short bus ride into the lovely town of Dundee, and the train station which got us everywhere we wanted to go. Gracious hosts and wonderful weather while we were there. Highly recommend. Two thumbs up👏

A great location for Dundee, St Andrews and the fishing villages on the Firth of Forth. The view from both panoramic bedrooms was superb. Hosts friendly and rooms very comfortable.

Outstanding view, perfect for 4 and a couple kids
We had an outstanding stay at Braemore. Beautiful place walkable to a cute village with a couple restaurants and bars, grocery, butcher. 20 minutes to Saint Andrew’s. I could not get enough of the amazing view of the Tay. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Nice place we would return to for a longer stay.

Absolutely outstanding
The property is just as amazing as the pictures shown on the site. The owners were very welcoming and helpful but did not intrude unless required. The welcome pack was an added bonus and surpassed what we expected. It was a pleasure to stay at at this property and I hope that I might get to stay again sometime in the future. The area is lovely and Newport on Tay was a pleasant surprise as it had some lovely places to eat and drink.

Perfect
Exactly what we needed. Great views, good walking/hiking trails. Comfortable bed. Easy access to Dundee as well as the train station to the rest of Scotland. Highly recommend.

Great Property in a fantastic location
Very impressed with the property. The images of the views coupled with the facilities offered at the location encouraged me to book, and it certainly didn't disappoint. Communication with the host throughout was exceptional, and excellent meet and greet on arrival. The property, located in a quiet residential area, lived up to all expectations. The facilities are first class and the views, wow the views, are amongst the best of any property or hotel ive stayed at.
Overall, very much enjoyed our stay, with a fantastic host, would very much recommend this property to anyone, and would certainly want to stay again (and again!)

A very comfortable place to stay
We loved the spacious, luminous impeccably furnished rooms having stunning views of the the Tay Bridge and Dundee. The beds were most comfortable. The bathrooms and kitchen were appointed with good quality appliances and equipment. The Robert was a friendly welcoming manager. Newport-on-Tay is fairly quiet but St Andrews and Dundee are just a short drive away. Highly recommended!

Hyvin varustellussa keittiössä oli valmiina odottamassa starttipaketti ensimmäistä aamiaista varten. Paikka on lähellä A92 tietä, joten paikka on hyvä tukikohta esim. golfareille. Bridge over the Tay
Had a lovely 4 nights staying at home of Robert and Susan. They are charming and very considerate hosts - available with all sorts of local information but completely unobtrusive.
The facilities are excellent and spotless. We loved the views over the Tay as I guess has everyone who has stayed here.

The picture of the residence does not do it justice. Our stay was wonderful despite the gray skies and winds, but Robert and Susan wee gracious hosts and made our visit even more enjoyable. You will not be disappointed with the bedrooms, view and kitchen. We loved it!

Charming peaceful retreat
We had a wonderful week in this lovely property . It was peaceful despite its proximity to the bridge and the views are just astonishing day and night and in good and stormy weather. Beds and bedding gave all of us a hint of luxury and a good nights sleep. The welcome package was more than anyone could hope for, thankyou so much for being perfect hosts. The appartment is ideal for visiting this area of Scotland and we spent time in Edinburgh, Stirling, St Andrews, Dundee and Aberdeen as well as many small villages. We just loved the property and would return in a blink of an eye.

Amazing stay!
Robert and Susan were such gracious hosts and their apartment was very comfortable and welcoming. They went above and beyond to help us find our way around and to ensure that we had a great experience for which we are forever grateful.
The views of the river, bridge, and sunsets from the apartment were spectacular and the walk into town along the water was beautiful.
We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Saint Andrew's area.
