The host was very kind, it was in the city center and the outdoor area/ garden was great.

The owner is very friendly, he even drove us to the bus station for the bus to Kandy. His son drove us with tuk tuk to the Cave temples. Our room was basic, it is pretty clean. It was great place for 3 days in Dambulla. If you need the Owner will help you to organize trip for example to Sigiriya. Very nice place for this price.

Convenient location, near bus stop. It is easy to get to attractions in Dambulla and Sigiriya from here. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Clean and comfortable rooms. Most importantly, a very friendly and hospitable host. Great place, I recommend it to everyone.

Good location for those who traveled by bus,5-10 min walk from bus stop to the hotel. Guest house is located closed to Main Street but hidden away from noises and is peaceful and very green. Owner of the guest house and his whole family are very polite and helpful. They shared all their knowledge with us and pointed to right directions. Owner can provide rides by tuk tuk or car to Sirigiya, Cave Tample and Polonnaruwa if you looking for quick transportation. Also safari trips are available at the site.

The owner and staff were lovely, he even drove us to catch the bus. The place is undergoing renovations and extensions but that didn't disturb us at all. The outside sitting area was good and you could mix with other guests. Quick walk to the center of town and all the facilities. There is a restaurant serving Sri Lankan food which was plentiful. We would definitely stay there again, we enjoyed being there.

The only thing I didn't like was the pillows, they were super heavy and hard, not sure what was inside of them?

We loved the property. It is very cosy and clean. Best hotel, best breakfast and best stuff. Owner is so helpful and super kind. He arranged safari trip and take us to the Pidurangala hike in the very early morning. He even took us to the Dambulla cave temple without any payment. If you want to visit Dambulla I can't imagine better place than Gamagedara Resort. Highly recommended.

The place was pretty run down compared to photos and a little unclean. Had our expectations been lower it would have been fine for the money but we were expecting more from the photos

The staff is really friendly and willing to help you with whatever you need. They welcomed me with a cup of tea :) The location is great.

The mattress was thin, so it's not the most comfy bed, but I only stayed a night.
