the lack of air conditioning, no fans or even a kettle for the coffee/tea left in your room. Hearing people walking the floor above you. No fly screens on the windows, no bars preventing you from walking out on the roof - big safety hazard. Minimal surface area in bathroom to set up toiletries or make up. No fridge.

Everything especially the food (amazing chef) decor and staff!

Delay in response times on initial enquiries. Both through booking.com & direct to the hotel. That is all that be faulted and certainly the experience we had here made up for that!

Location great. Staff very nice beautiful grounds. Hot water available in hallway was well placed. Beautiful building and interiors. . The room central heating was not working at full capacity. We reported this the front desk and he went out of his way to come and check and then find us an additional heater. Very impressive genuinely kind service.

Very disappointed by what turned out to be out of date info on website: we had not booked anywhere for dinner as the website showed a dining option as the Bar / lounge menu. We chose what we’d wanted to eat from this menu and info. When it came to order we were told by very nice (and slightly embarrassed) staff that that menu was no longer available and hadn’t been for quite a while. They were very nice - our issue was with the lack of update of the website considering this is really not a hard job. We had to leave the hotel and drive to the town - not far but not what we’d planned - luckily although very booked out we found a table at the pub. Please update your website to accurately reflect current offerings.
