Great Location close to lifts

Average hostel, great location walking distance to Hirafu Dot base, clean bathrooms and laundry on most floors, good drying room for ski gear and decent breakfast included

Dorm room had an extra 7th bed stuffed in instead of 6 bunks as pictured so 3 people barely had any space. One of the front desk staff was a bit unreliable as he kept giving us incorrect information about where things were but we figured it out ourselves anyways.

Very basic but functional ski hostel, only 5 minutes from the lifts! The rooms are incredibly bare, but are clean, comfortable, and not damp. The staff are friendly, on-site equipment hire was easy and good value, and the included breakfast was good!

Good location, nearer to the base

4pax family trip, booked the family room, paid for 7 pax. Got into shocked when we found that there is already a person staying in the room. Front desk closed after check-in (ard 7pm). Message through Booking.com apps received no response. We have to share the room with a stranger and we can't sleep well at all. Everyone was stressed and awkward. It was my bday and the most unforgettable one. Feedback to the frontdesk first thing in the next day to move the stranger to other room. But never got any apology nor explanations as if it's OK.

Staff were friendly and helpful where possible. Washing and drying facilities were available. Location to the mountain was fantastic. Drying room was also available and did the job.

The rooms were cramped with one extra bed than what was advertised, leaving little room for bags and storage. There was also a lot of noise from bar music and patrons that spills into the hallways and rooms on level one. I strongly suggest that the lodge does something to fix this. Lastly, there isn't any common area or room to chill out other than in your room and on your bed. The only space away from the bar and rooms is in the hallways, which makes for a very noisy experience overall. If you're going to stay here, I'd suggest asking to be put in a room on level 2 or above.

not clear online shared bathrooms. I called to arrange ski gear that confirmed there had everything at a reasonable price then when we turned up they said they didn’t have it and we had to buy elsewhere at crazy prices
