Big apartment in walking distance to most of the things tourists want to see in the Old Town and central Riga.

Check in was a mess. Booking.com confirmation said owner would meet us on site. Received a message from the owner asking what time we would arrive. Sent a reply advising. We arrived at the appointed time, no one was there. Waited 30 minutes. Nothing. Tried four times to phone the owner. No answer. Sent a message via Booking.com, waited and then phoned again. Finally owner answered. Claimed she had sent arrival info by email but clearly she had not. Miraculously arrived just after I finally got her on the phone. There is no one to meet you on site. It is self check in via a series of complicated codes and lock boxes, so the Booking.com info is wrong. Had we known it was self check in we would have chased it up the day before. The apartment needs a lot of repairs and maintenance. Here are just a few examples: The actual apartment has two front doors. Only one of them was lockable. In the kitchen there is a power point at floor level which is literally hanging out of the wall with exposed wiring. Don’t come here if you have small kids who might stick their fingers in it. There is a double power point up high in the bathroom. It is also faulty. It will support one appliance but not two. The shower didn’t drain. And I don’t mean it drained slowly. It didn’t drain. Internet kept dropping out. We were constantly re-booting it with no improvement. Apartment was cold and the central heating apparently didn’t work. Access is via a stairway from the car park at the back of the building which opens off a lane and is very dark at night. I would not be comfortable coming and going at night alone.

Great location. Walking distance from downtown and closecto the airport bus stop. Big flat.

The given directions for where the key is were incomplete with wrong code. The phone number was switched off, so we could not check in upon arrival. In an hour they called and solved the problem.

Location was OK, close to city center bars and cafes. Close to public transport stops. Also provided with a cot which is great.

Not very flexible

- host is very helpful, answered all the questionsy instantly - self check-in is easy, we got all the necessary instructions before our arrival - location is unbeatable, absolutely recommend!

I really liked the location of the apartment, in the very center of Riga, a spacious and comfortable apartment. but everything was ruined by the fact that there was a cockroach

There was a cockroach in the apartment. I was very disappointed that the host looked at it casually.

The location is perfect (next to a bus stop direct to the airport and in the heart of the old town) and the flat is big. It is well equipped and the beds are pretty comfortable.

Breakfast was not provided and the bathroom really needs renovation... Cleanliness could also be improved.

The biggest advantage is the place of the apartments near the House of black heads in the old town of Riga.

The apartment was not clean enough for the guests : above fridge and on the lights we have found a lot of dust. The apartment is missing cable TV.

Location. Free parking behind the house in yard, staircase door right there.
