Dies ist unser zweites Zuhause und wir verbringen hier so viel Zeit wie möglich. Wir laden Sie ein, dieses einzigartige Haus zu genießen und freuen uns auf Ihre Rückreise. Dieses historische authentische Haus verfügt über viele freiliegende weiße Eichenbalken, um die spektakuläre Aussicht zu maximieren. Die schönen Berge und der See dienen als Kulisse für eine große Terrasse mit Pergola, Sitzgelegenheiten im Freien, Speisen und Grillen das ganze Jahr über. Das Hotel liegt 65 Meilen von Nashville entfernt und macht die Lage und die Kabine perfekt.
Das Innere der Kabine verfügt über 3 Schlafzimmer, 2. 5 Bäder, eine offene Küche / Wohnzimmer, einen gemütlichen Kamin mit einem Monsterfenster, um den atemberaubenden Blick auf den See und die Berge zu genießen. Sie können das Beste aus beiden Welten mit allem Komfort wie zu Hause und spektakulären Sonnenaufgängen und Sonnenuntergängen am See genießen, nur eine kurze Fahrt von Nashville entfernt.
Die Kabine verfügt über schöne moderne Funktionen, darunter eine moderne Küche und WLAN / Kabel / Smart-TVs im ganzen Haus. Der Speisesaal befindet sich im schönen Wintergarten, der eine herrliche Aussicht bietet und einen handgefertigten Tisch für 14 Personen.
Der Gemeinschaftspool, der Fitnessraum und der Pavillon stehen Ihnen ebenfalls zur Verfügung und befindet sich nur wenige Minuten von der Hütte entfernt. Hidden Harbor Marina ist nur 10 Autominuten entfernt und bietet Ihnen Zugang zu allen Aktivitäten am See, darunter Angeln, Ponton, Wellenläufer und Hausboote, die ganzjährig für die tägliche Vermietung zur Verfügung stehen.

Die Almost Heaven-Hütte wurde außerhalb von Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in den Allegheny Mountains gebaut. Die Stämme sind aus dichter amerikanischer weißer Eiche, die aufgrund ihrer Stärke, Haltbarkeit und Größe das bevorzugte Holz war. Die Verwendung der gemeinsamen Bauweise deutet darauf hin, dass sie in den 1820er Jahren gebaut wurde. Die Kabine wurde markiert und nach Center Hill Lake Tennessee verlegt.
Nach den genauen Vorgaben der Kabine wurde ein neuer Keller für Betonausgänge gebaut. Der Keller besteht aus dicken Außenschichten aus starrer Isolierung und einem Betonstahl und einem Innenkern aus Beton. Die Baumstämme wurden mit Hilfe einer spezialisierten Kabinenrestaurierungsfirma wieder aufgebaut. Dieselben Personen haben sie demontiert. Das Dach ist mit schweren Paneelen gebaut und im ganzen Haus gibt es doppelt verglaste Fenster.

To say the view is beautiful is quite the understatement. We spent the majority of our time on the deck staring at the view, enjoying the firepit, and watching the hummingbirds. It was incredibly relaxing.
The cabin is rustic and as advertised. The new addition of the screened in porch came in handy on our last evening.
Due to unforeseen circumstances before our arrival, the owner, Dennis, was at the cabin when we arrived and couldn’t have been more gracious. We instantly hit it off with him and was very happy we got to visit with him. Join us for drinks next time!
The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need and even spices and condiments. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well. The slanted floor in the king room was a surprise but not off putting.
I highly recommend a stay at this cabin. We’re already talking about when we can stay again.

What a beautiful place. Truly almost heaven. Everything was perfect. The view is even more spectacular in person. The attention to details of the design and decor are incredible. We had lots of space to spread out but also spaces to be together. You can’t help but think about all the history and people whom have stepped into this cabin. My only wish is that we could have stayed longer and that it was a little closer to us so we could visit more frequently. Thank you for sharing your home.

We stayed for a week at Dennis’ property. The view absolutely took my breath away. Dennis called the week before our stay to check in and to see if we had any questions, tell us about the area and offer us suggestions during our stay. He called and texted us a couple more times during our stay making sure we were having a good time and if we needed anything. Our experience at Almost Heaven was amazing. So peaceful and relaxing, my husband and I are looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend.

This cabin and property were so relaxing and *gorgeous*. Well stocked and didn’t need for anything. There’s plenty to do in the area but we enjoyed staying put on that awesome deck for our whole stay. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Dennis was a wonderful host! Highly recommend

We absolutely loved our stay at the Almost Heaven cabin in Smithville, TN. Dennis was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. The property was awesome. Very relaxing and peaceful. The view speaks for itself. Dennis made the check-in and stay very easy and enjoyable. The drive to a variety of restaurants, shops, and parks was very reasonable and manageable. The marina restaurant closed for the season just as we got there. That's the only negative experience of the entire trip. Highly recommend the stay and would certainly enjoy a return trip.

Almost Heaven was amazing! The pictures don't do it justice! From the minute you drive up and see the old 1820s cabin sitting nestled in the trees with glimpses of the lake behind it, to the huge picture window overlooking the beautiful back deck and lake views. It was the perfect location for our family to get together for my dads 70th birthday! We really enjoyed early mornings on the back deck drinking coffee, listening to the birds and watching the sunrise!
The cabin inside was very unique! Rustic yet upgraded and easy to be comfortable in. The owner, Dennis, was very accommodating and made sure we were taken care of from booking, check-in and to check-out! We definitely plan to be back!

We were pleasantly surprised by how big and beautiful the cabin was. The photos were nice but they don't do it justice. The view was breathtaking! I did not want to leave the cabin for meals because it was so perfect. We got a few groceries and had everything we needed for an amazing and relaxing week. The host was wonderful and we hope to return in the future. Thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven with us! We feel blessed and refreshed!

My family (2 adults; 2 kids) had the best time vacationing at this property! The home is unique with all the modern conveniences (including sufficient WiFi, which can be a challenge in this area). The view over the mountains and water is absolutely incredible - perhaps one of the best we’ve ever seen! Starting and ending the day on the deck was one of the best parts of the vacation.
Lots of options of things to do in the local area - renting boats for the day, swimming in the community pool, hiking, and horseback riding. You’re also a 1.5 hour drive from Nashville.
And, I cannot say enough good thing about the hosts. They are thoughtful and generous and gave us an incredible experience. We can’t wait to go back!

An incredible property with views that go on forever!! Lots to do and super hosts. You won't go wrong here whether you want to sit on the deck and relax or go exploring one of the many state parks in the area! Book soon as it does fill up quickly in the summer!!

We had a wonderful time. Starting our mornings on the beautiful deck with coffee, hiking to amazing waterfalls, boating, fishing, or just exploring during the day, then returning home for a beautiful sunset dinner.

This property is highly recommended!!! The views, peace and quiet, and uniqueness of this house are just fabulous. We enjoyed our stay here so much and hope to return in the future. The owner/host was the best, great communication and available for any questions by phone or text at anytime, also made great suggestions on local restaurants, The Twisted Oak and the Mexican restaurant next to Walmart were both excellent. We enjoyed our short day trips to local state parks with spectacular waterfalls. Fall Creek Falls was our favorite and the drive there is beautiful. We also had a great day trip to Nashville, only 1 1/2 hour drive away. But the best part of this trip is spending time relaxing on the deck and watching sunrises from the awesome large living room window. The views of the surrounding mountains and Center Hill Lake are really beautiful and the gas firepit was great at night. The house itself is so unique, a 200 year old log cabin with all modern amenities. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, there were even complimentary drinks in the fridge which after a long trip is a very nice touch. There's a great record collection along with some cd's that we really enjoyed listening to on a very cool record player. We also enjoyed the Sonos bluetooth speaker. My wife and I hope to vacation here again one day, it really is an awesome place in a special area.

Super cute cabin with a great view. Tons of humming birds. Quiet location. Lots of amenities. The home owners thought of everything. Lots of spices, cookware, utensils. Loved the lighting they added to the historic cabin. Runners on stairs (lots of Florida houses don’t think of this!). Nice place for reading, playing cards or just watching nature.

The view is special. Like when you see a scenic view sign along the highway special. The Cabin is special. 200 year old logs and beams. A very warm and comfortable home. It is obvious that the owners try hard. Great people to rent from, Thanks from the whole family.

This cabin is named Almost Heaven and it really is! The view is breathtaking and the cabin is amazing! Dennis, the owner, was so responsive and attentive to our needs. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back to this treasure!

Our extended family had a great time at Dennis's cabin. The views from the deck as well as the deck itself were amazing. Dennis was a fantastic host and very responsive to our questions. Our kids really love the community pool in Blue Water Bay that is accessible with this property.

Almost Heaven is a unique place to stay with the cabin being built in the 1820’s and the view is beyond words. It has great updates so you have modern amenities. We had everything we needed and had a wonderful long weekend. Dennis was great to work with and was available for anything you needed. I would Highly recommend staying at this cabin. I have had people asking for information on renting because of pictures I posted during our stay. Again, the cabin has everything you need and you will not be able to get enough of the view.

We had a wonderful weekend at Dennis's historic log cabin. The view is incredible and the deck is perfectly appointed to enjoy it. Even if the weather doesn't support being outside, the amazing picture window lets you enjoy it from inside. It is well appointed for 3 couples with plenty of space for everyone, both shared and not. The kitchen has everything you need as well as both charcoal and gas grills. We had the best time and look forward to a repeat stay in the future.
