very nice and clean. great beach for shell hunting.

The rooms are really nice with a full bath and a spacious interior. There is a kitchen in the room with things like a rice cooker, pots, pans and utensils you can use to cook. You have a big garden area where you can sit outside and dry out your clothes after being at the beach. The beach is a short two minute walk away. If the skies are clear at night you get an incredible view of the stars from your garden or the beach. The restaurant is pricy but it was a good experience as you BBQ for yourself in tents. Very nice.

The hotel itself was great. There are a couple of trade offs. 1. The night view is incredible. That’s because you are a little remote. Expect to drive 20-30 min to get food or to visit areas not on the NE side. 2. We had the beach all to ourselves. We paddleboarded and the water is clear and incredible. But because it’s remote and on the NE side where the wind blows hard in the winter, quite a bit of garbage washes ashore like plastic bottles. The hotel beach are is clean because they clean it, but walking further along the shore is kind of sad. It’s an island, so we kind of expected it so it didn’t diminish our experience. On the plus side, sunrise is beautiful.

Breakfast

Beautiful location — and relatively close to a number of lovely cafes and shops. The BBQ was a great experience. Overall, the hotel was quiet, beautiful, and comfortable — with kind and very helpful staff. We really enjoyed our stay.

The wifi was not great, and the breakfast was a little disappointing. To cycle 20 min up the road to grab some juice and a donut from Hualani Cafe would have been a better cost:reward for the quality of food.

Well located within minutes from the beach and a short drive from the airport. It is centrally located on the island with maximum 30-40 min drive to any location. It has free parking. It is well maintained, beautifully laid out, clean with large comfortable nicely decorated rooms, and a gorgeous bath/shower room. Quite zen for a relaxing stay. They have a BBQ restaurant on the grounds with a cozy atmosphere, but I did not eat there. The beach is within a minute's walking distance. Breakfast was good and prepared with care by the staff.

As on many islands on the ocean, plastic trash on the beaches is becoming an issue. Looked for some ways to help clean up part of the beach, but no one could point me to a place where I could get enough large bags and where to dispose of them. It appeared to me that the Island's government has not come around to taking care of the wild unmanaged beaches yet. The beaches are wide and mostly devoid of trash and fully useable. It is the upper parts near the mangroves where the garbage collects, there is a lot of it on some unmanaged beaches.

All staffs are very nice.

The location and resort were great. The staff was even better. Breakfast and Dinner BBQ were delicious. The pool and beach allowed us to relax and have a perfect getaway in a beautiful setting.

The only thing that was missing were umbrellas for the beach chairs. Otherwise, we were provided with everything that we needed to have a relaxing and comfortable stay.
