Quaint cottage. Great location. Very clean.
Having to walk through a bedroom to go and use the bathroom. The steps are extremely steep, so any mobility issues would be a problem. Also having to bag up your own bedding at the end of the stay.

characterful property in quiet location but within walking distance to town . plenty of pubs and food outlets nearby . close to Thetford Forest fit mountain biking and walking . good parking .
not so much a dislike as a preference, make sure vendor is aware of any bedding requirements as we found the double had a feather quilt which we didn’t like do swapped it for the two singles from other bedroom. I mentioned this on leaving and the vendor did say if I’d have let her know she would have swapped the duvet so that was our fault , not hers .

Cottage was lovely very homely. Has character and comfort just minutes from town. Plenty of parking and entertainment from the peacocks. Very suitable and convenient if you take a dog with a large garden.

The property was just what we hoped for - plenty of parking, good size rooms and very well equipped. We came with our 13 month old, and the high chair, crib and stairgate provided were good quality. It's a short walk from the town centre which has all the amenities you could wish for, and just a few doors down in the other direction were peacocks in a garden! I would highly recommend, and gladly stay there again if we find ourselves in Swaffham in future.
The only downside I can think of was that the shower wasn't very strong, but it still did the job. Everything else was spot on!

Clean and practical for a few nights.
The kitchen had a very strong smell of bacon when we arrived which lingered for our entire stay. The double bed also wasn’t particularly comfortable.

Good communication with the host beforehand, especially as I lost access to my emails and she had to resend al the info to another address. Location of the property was good as we needed to stay somewhere close to Lydney House where our friends were having a big birthday celebration. As such we didn't spend much time in the cottage, but have no complaints about it.

We had a fabulous stay at Manor Farm Cottage. The property itself was well presented with everything a family of five (plus their dog) could need for a week’s stay. There were plenty of supermarket and restaurant/takeaway options within a few minutes walk and Swaffham is a great base from which to explore Norfolk. Thetford Forest, Sandringham Estate and the beaches of Holkham and Wells were a short drive away, and highly recommended for days out. The owners were extremely helpful and responsive to our queries, fixing a wi-fi issue straight away and helping us to discover lots of great dog walks in the local area. Finally, looking out of your kitchen window to see a local peacock (of which there are several) strutting around on your lawn is an experience you wouldn’t get with many properties and guaranteed to put a smile on your face!
It’s hard to find anything to say as it was such a charming cottage. There were perhaps some small niggles but they would be very much down to personal preference. For example, I thought the pillows and mattresses on the single beds were far more comfortable than that on the double but someone else could think completely differently. Honestly, any negative comment I could make would be completely trivial compared to all the positives.
