LOCATION! Steps away from everything and super good value - half what any nearby hotel were charging. Luis, the owner, was fantastic --- very chill guy and great communicating everything. The converted buses were a cool idea... I upgraded to one of the ones with private bath and AC. Simple accommodations, nothing fancy, but unique idea, comfy settings, great value and amazing host. If you're looking for a place to stay right in the heart of everything and don't require any fancy spa services or crowded touristy hotels - this is the perfect spot. It looked like Luis is doing even more work around the property so I'll be excited to return in the future and see what new additions he has in store.

It's at the end of a small dirt road and a little tricky to find at first.... although we arrived after dark - so easier in daytime. Luis was great about hopping on the phone though and talking us through finding the place. On certain nights it can be a little noisy since it's near a couple of the big bars....but again, location - you are literally in the middle of everything Playa de Cocos has to offer ;)... if you're sensitive to noise though, you may want to pack a pair of earbuds. It was only a bit noisy the first night though.

Lovely cute place! The owner, Luis, is really nice and very helpful. Close to beach and restaurants. I recommend this place for few nights!

I liked that I was able to get air conditioning in the end. the first caravan I booked did not have air conditioning and was too small to contain my luggage.

I didn’t have the host check the messages where I tried to clarify info about the property. he blamed it on the website but these are the messages that go directly to the owner; he just hadn’t checked them. So I had no hot water. the kitchen doesn’t quite have enough stuff to do what you want and when I got there other guests had trashed it. I think Luis cleaned it up. To be clear, because his ad wasn’t, none of the caravans, including the one he calls an apartment, have hot water, and the apartment is a caravan too. the short cut to get to the beach was only open certain hours and it’s almost impossible to open the lock to the gate from the outside. the shower drain was also too big. it ate my soap and my lid to my shampoo. All in all I had an okay stay but would not have with my original booking.

Good price for location, very helpful and engaging owner. Entertaining monkey. convenient and practical outdoor kitchen. Tasty fruit and vegetable place nearby.

The location is close to the beach. The idea of sleeping in a caravan is romantic. The A/C worked well and the caravan was clean.

The surroundings (camping) are quite messy and dirty. Lot of garbage lying around. The mattress we slept on desperately needed to be replaced; it kept us up at night. The common area was also really in bad condition. We felt it was a bit overpriced given these downsides.

The host (Luis) was more than helpful and welcoming. Very charming set up: he transformed buses into beautiful tiny camps.

Don Luis is always up to help, despite the hour! There was also an atypical electricity issue in the town, however, he manager to take a look with the power company a helped to close this faster. Nice property for its value!

This place is near the center, near the all restaurantes and the beach... The komb super us expectations and the person that atending are very helpful.
