Great location and the staff were more than welcoming and helped us enormously.

Reception isn’t manned fully and at times it was difficult to locate a member of staff. It’s a lovely hotel but I’m finding it hard to justify the price charged. Yes it’s quirky and lovely but for the price we paid, I’d have expected a little more in terms of staff availability and presence.

Good place for stay in Altea. Cozy modern mini hotel, all necessary equipment, friendly staff, coffee machine ☕ and breakfast 🍳 So narrow street, be careful with car.

The room was really nicely decoated: spacious, tasteful and with a huge and comfortable bed. Although the shower wasn't private, I loved the fact that the toilet was: it was behind a separate door in the vestibule area. Great breakfast (best maple and pecan pastry I've had for ages) and the location was excellent.

For quote a bit of the night there were random clicks. This was either the thermostat going on or off (even though we didn't have the a/c or heating turned on) or people in the next door room plugging things in - but whichever was the case it didn't help me sleep!

The spa was breathtaking absolutely lovely the view was just as good from the room the staff was excellent

The room we stayed in was beautiful, large, and well lit. The staff were friendly and spoke fairly good English. There is a really very nice spa in the basement which is well worth the extra charge. The hotel generally has great views. There is a restaurant which serves delicious food. It's in a great location in the old part of the town not far from the beach.

Not much! The parking nearby is tricky, but that's just the old town. There is a hotel car park but it is expensive. It's a matter of personal taste but I think they could do with playing different music!

Beautiful boutique hotel with very tasteful, spacious rooms,super comfy beds, great clean pool area and right in the center of Altea's gorgeous old town. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was also fabulous. Not to mention a spectacular view from the top terrace over Altea, mountains, and the sea. Great for sunrise watching. I will definitely come back.

perfect location. fantastic spa and massage

La Serena exceeded our expectations. The room was appointed with a pleasing palette of grey-blue and the mattress and sheets were so comfortable. Can I take this room home with me? The Staff were friendly and willing to go out of their way to please us. Breakfast was delicious. Thank you for hosting us in this magical place called Altea.

Excellent location half way between old town and seafront , an oasis of calm and luxury . The sunbeds are exquisite with the deepest mattresses you will ever experience , clean towels folded on each bed . The pool is small but beautifully designed and a perfect cool off size. Breakfast was a continental feast with great coffee and fresh orange juice . We hired the spa for an afternoon - I'm not generally a spa person - but oh my goodness what an experience in luxury and indulgence, we finished off with a massage which was superb , We had Room 4 to the front of the property , it was a really good size , very clean and comfortable large bed , fantastic shower and Rituals toiletries . The staff are great , the cleanliness is unbeatable , every attention to detail perfection .

A petty remark - I like a gin and tonic - it was delivered with not a slice of lemon , but a cocktail stick holding three marshmallows ! Slightly odd - nice gin though .

it was very chic and modern . exceptionally clean and the staff were amazing . couldn’t fault it . We would definitely recommend it and stay here again ❤️

Breakfast was excellent the hotel is quiet. And in a good location.

Parking can be an issue. To park underground is expensive at 60 Euro per day within the hotel. Or get lucky with a few spaces adjacent tonotel
