Great breakfast, practicle room and good use of small spaces! Gladly recommended.

smaller spaces, but still used them very well. sliding bathroom door works well but sounds carry in / out of bathroom/shower. Not a big problem, just different. otherwise really impressed with the use of the spaces in the room as well as in the breakfast area

The Situ Hotel is conveniently located to everything in the heart of the town of Valenciennes. It was a comfortable stay and I would recommend anyone to stay at this quaint hotel for their visit. I would definitely return. Other people have commented about the noise of the trains, but honestly, that isn't really an issue even though the hotel is directly across from the train station. That guaranteed that I would not miss my train, so that was a plus for me. :)

After hours, guests have to ring a bell to be let back into the hotel. This feels a little intrusive, but I understand the reason for safety purposes. Also, they are VERY punctual with taking away the breakfast, so it's best to give yourself a little extra time or pick up something elsewhere if you miss it.

Very basic but breakfast but affordable prices Pillows is not comfortable Change my room from studio to superior room one day before my arrival with same price but after negotiating they offer me 50%discount on breakfast and I accepted as I have no time for cancellation and rebooking

Very clean, relatively chic/trendy, view of the pretty train station, got an upgrade to a nice room. Parking around the corner for free.

Right next to train station, bit loud with trains etc running. Parking was under trees with LOTS of birds that completely took care of my car over night :), bed pretty worn out. Area/location ok ish. You can walk everywhere which is nice. But also right at the train station not a lot of things there either. Too expensive for what I got.
