The pool and the restaurant are exactly as the photos are. Staff very friendly and helpful. They helped us with the car renting and with the bus schedules. Amazing pool. Location was great, less than 5 minutes from the bus stop.

The bathroom need an update but everything worked well.

The breakfast was expertly served by one very thoughtful and attentive waitress (Gina). The bar was well managed by another good member of staff (Georgia). The owner's daughter gave us some nice recommendations for restaurants in the area (the Olive tree in Platanias and Castro in Paleohora in particular). The beach was beautiful and the view from our apartment was lovely. The town is based along the high street so there is no obvious centre and the road is fairly busy.

Unfortunately it seemed often that the staff could have done with more back-up as more support was needed to cope with the number of guests. It was a pity that the pool (which, while lovely and with an amazing view of the beach and does look bigger in the photos) was often dominated by one large omnipresent family accompanied by some pretty large inflatable toys plus balls and games. Young daughter of family would typically arrive at 8h50 each morning and would rearrange and reserve sun beds closest to the pool for family for the rest of the day. Unfortunately we were ushered out of the pool almost as soon as they vacated it by members of the owners family who live on site since hours of use were strongly policed (between 9am and 9pm) meaning that despite only wanting to go for a brief quiet swim we rarely got to use it. The accommodation itself was functional but not fancy - a little basic, faded and dated, to be honest. However, the beds were comfortable, the shower was good and the housekeeping staff were pleasant and came regularly to help clean. It would have been nice if guests were not charged for using the sun loungers (belonging to the hotel) on the beach. We would probably always have covered the required bar tab to enable free use but it makes you feel less like a valued guest to be charged this extra fee when already paying a considerable amount for a week's stay. We were only informed on arrival by the owner that there would be no restaurant service in the evening which was a pity as we had been hoping to benefit from having the restaurant on site and its views of the beach as shown on the website for at least a couple of nights.

The hotel is located right next to the beach, that`s great. The location, also the beach, were very clean. You order breakfast from a menu. It was delicious, and Gina, the girl who is serving breakfast and is working in the bar, is very nice and she did an extraordinary service. Because of ordering from the menu you should bring some more time. We could do a later check out, that was helpful. The staff is very friendly.

The wifi was nearly not working in the room, only on the balcony.

Amaaazing receptionists, very sweet and helpful, great facilities, very clean, spacious rooms, right on the beach, lovely atmosphere, beautiful life jazz music on Sunday.
