The hotel is located on the lake

We asked for a room with lake view but were told we cannot have it because we made the reservation via booking.com. It is unacceptable.

Nice location and beautiful view from the breakfast room

The beds weren't very comfortable, big lie spots/holes, bathroom was very dark and the tub was a bit dirty

I had possibly the worst room. the hotel faces a main road with a lot of traffic and it was incredibly loud. There was no view of the lake from my room (as pictured)

What i liked most was leaving

This hotel is a scam. The price offered online was not accurate, more than double with a 50% tax added. The room was not as advertised. "Room with a view"? A view of the parking lot and very small room, not much bigger than a walk in closet. Paid a lot less for much nicer rooms with better views. Canceled after one night.

The view was very nice. We booked a room with a view and I recommend it. We had room 15 with a corner window.

Loud road noise with lots of dust.

Location at the "outskirt"of Bariloche is reasonable - within walking distance to town, on the Bus 20 route. Our room and the dinning room overlooked the lake which is beautiful. Seating by the pool was a very relaxing experience as it is on the beach. Good "Argentinian breakfast +". Hospitable stuff. Very clean. Very good value for money.

Much of the hotel has wooden floors, the carpets are a bit "run down" (old and worn), mattress are relatively old with memory foam - these are OK but not "luxurious".

The Hosteria was very comfortable and clean, the reception staff was super friendly and the breakfast was included in the room tariff. However, the main thing about this place by far is the view. The Hosteria is right on the banks of the Nahuel Huapi lake so the breakfast area has a very big window overlooking the best part of the city, truly great views. The room had amazing views as well. This is the highlight of the place for sure.

Location is not great. It's not terrible, about 1 Km from the city centre so you can get there walking in just a few mins, but it is true that, compared to other hotels located downton, this location is not the best. That said, downtown hotels do not necessarily have the views you can get here bec you are a bit further away, right in front of the lake. I think the trade is more than fair :)
