I made a touristic visit to Hong Kong, but could not return to China, because of visa problem and all my suitcase and stuff left at the hotel.
The hotel personnel packaged everything and sent to my address in Hong Kong.
I really appreciate their cooperation.

Bună seara. Locatia este super, pat comod si aer conditionat. In rest unele lucruri cred ca trebuie îmbunătățite...
Nu a fost micul dejun sau cel puțin nu am fost anunțați că el exista sau nu în plată . Curațenia doar in ultima zi a fost luat sacul cu gunoi, dar hartie igienica, sapun nu au fost aduse zilnic și a trebuit sa procuram, prosoapele nu au fost schimbate. De obicei aceste lucruri sunt schimbate zilnic( sapun, gel, hartie si prosoape).In baie am vazut Taracani noaptea...poate dacă îmbunătățiți lucrurile elementare, hotelul va fi de nota 10, dar acum nu trage decît la un 7, cu părere de rău.

Position is convenient, staff was nice.
I found my room very clean, but during the stay none clean it.
- air conditioning not present in my room despite was in the listing, during the heat wave (37°C).
I’ve asked through the chat about it, none answered my request.

Great location. That’s all.
None of the receptionists spoke English! Around 20:00, the main door is locked so you have to wait outside or call them. The room had no hairdryer, the balcony was catastrophical (dirty, destroyed, dangerous.) The shower was disaster, the water sprayed everywhere.

The location was good, as was the check-in procedure.
The hotel seems to be falling apart, the balcony was extremely unsafe, and water spilled all over the bathroom when taking a shower. The beds were small and uncomfortable. The elevator also seemed old and unsafe. Major investment is needed to make this hotel even remotely acceptable.

Great hotel. My room smelt a little bit like cigarettes but apart from that everything was fantastic. We were given a very early check in at 6:00am which was great after a long overnight bus to chisinau.

We were lucky to find a place to stay
It was quite an old hotel, you could see yourself in Soviet Union. Someone may like this kind of romantism, but not for that kind of money I think. Though the price increase might be due to the stream of refugees from Ukraine, and we were one of them. But was it really a good time to earn money?

I enjoyed the soviet time feeling the building gave you as I didn't stay in this kind of hotel before. The room was alright, there was a shop downstairs to buy coffee from and the supermarket was close. Parking was easily accessible nearby and free. The price was good for the location of the hotel.
The bed was comfortable and there were only little things that could be improved. The sheets had a tear in team, the toilet paper holder and the shower head was a bit broken. But, we didn't have any issue using the facilities.

The location is quite good. Not too far away from the cathedral and the two parks. I was not expecting too much from a 2 stars hotel - but I did pay 11 euros per day more to get a refurbished room (because the old rooms are very very old).
Had no breakfast.
And you cannot complain - the price is very low.
I did choose hotel Turist because in the description they mention a deposit box. But there is NO safe or deposit box in the room! The hotel should change the description. And there WAS NO WIFI in my room. I guess you have wifi only at the lobby or in other common rooms... But in 2021 there SHOULD BE wifi IN the room. Well, I bought a price plan for my cell phone - like 4 dollars for 30 GB data - that was enough for 1 week (used 25 GB... :-) ).

You’ll read bad reviews on this hotel and to be fair, they’re mainly true, the lifts are an adventure, it is dated & like staying in an old soviet building. It’s a bit like staying at your great aunt Maureen’s house that’s not been decorated since 1945, BUT!!!! It’s clean. My bathroom was quite new, last year or so. The shower was excellent. It’s in a good location AND ITS £20 A NIGHT!!! I’ve got absolutely no complaints about this place for the price. You obviously get what you pay for in life and I’d say that £20 is a bargain. If you want luxury, stay somewhere else and pay for it. If you want somewhere just to sleep & wash, this place is for you.
Can’t complain about anything for the price.

It's a 2 star hotel so don't expect the Ritz but it's relatively clean and comfortable and good location. Andy's pizza attached to hotel has good food reasonably priced.
