Menu for lunch and dinner is quite good but when you ask the fish curry you have to pay extra for rice

Outdoor bathroom isn't all picture perfect as the wind is a constant there. So taking a bath is not fun,going to toilet at night isn't either. Mind that the locals know there is an outdoor shower and as the bushes don't provide enough privacy they might be watching you! Lucky my boyfriend saw them while I wanted to go for a shower! If you're afraid of bugs and tropical creatures be aware. We had big ants, small ones,spiders and lizards in our bedroom. Only two breakfast options and if you're not a fan of vegetarian it's only one option. Anything extra is paying extra (toast,juice,...) Fresh fruit is almost the same every day. It gets bored very quickly! Check your bill!!! I read previews reviews of costs being added and it was the same with us. Breakfast was supposed to be included,yet they tried to charge over 4 times breakfast extra! Not allot of privacy,safe to say we had none at all!! Either the manager kept passing by to inquire if all was good,or the staff for the pool(which was constantly) or the locals who came to take showers naked from the drainage while we were laying at the pool. Locals just enjoying our garden with no regards of it being private property! Not allot to do in the nearby area. Walking towards the water palace and the nearby beach bar (which is good!) Is all there is. Any activity is obviously paying extra. If you plan on staying don't stay longer then 3-4 days. You will get bored! Ocean waves were fun the first couple of night but after night 5 we were going insane from the noise! Manager asked us in the beginning of our stay to pay by bank transfer,despite we had booked through booking.com with our credit card. Very strange. When we said it would not be possible he suddenly remembered he had means for receive payment with visa ...

What a great place! We stayed in the villa with sea view for 5 nights and we would have loved to stay longer. It was by far the best experience we had in our journey through Bali. Breathtaking views just from the bed into the se and always that great sound of waves breaking just meters away from you. Huge terrace and delicious food. You can rent a scooter there for little money and the very friendly staff will do their very best to fulfill all your wishes. We were even lucky enough to watch seaturtles just from our terrace diving through the waves. Be sure to get that hot-stone massage and deep tissue massage from Nilo and Wayan! Worth every dime! We definetely recommend staying here!

Having to leave

We loved our stay at Jasri Bay Hideway. It was a great place to relax and unwind. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very nice. We would definitely stay here again.

Stunningly beautiful location of the villa right on the beachfront. Authentic traditional Balinese villa with lots of charming spaces to rest. Gorgeous private pool.

Not a lot around in Jasri Bay to find alternative food. I got a bit sick of the one breakfast offering. And the evening meal had to be before 6pm when the staff went home! If you venture to the nearby resort they were kind enough to drop me back after dark when the beach was impassable and the winding dirt road in pitch black. It’s a long walk round otherwise. The ocean gets fierce at night: bring earplugs! I didn’t like being told after arrival that the property had recently been sold and was under new ownership. Also I was told on the second day I would have to pay cash or bank transfer despite having booked via Booking.com which they subsequently partially backtracked after I objected. They asked me to pay cash for the food and laundry! Really?! The bathroom is completely outside. It’s private but the shower has a pebble floor that makes it hard to stand on. The bath is like a small swimming pool!

The breakfast was crafted with care, and the service was excellent. The day only got better. When we arrived the road in was a challenge but on accessing the villa and the view and the immersion in coastal scenery at your doorstep (full moon and all) it was incomparable. This is not a resort for those who like shopping, clubbing and western chrome and glass. It is majestic Bali at its best. Very much off the beaten track and for that a perfect relaxation venue. It is up to you to manage getting around, meeting local people and exploring Waring Biker, but all very rewarding. The staff couldn't do enough for you and the balance between intimacy and privacy is unique. Great place. We will be back

The menu was a little limited but coming out of years of pandemic privation, perfectly adequate. I would like to see how things develop as occupancy increases and the place gets back to its lovely leisurely swing

fantastic view very good experience

Loved the remote location. The room right on the ocean with the sounds of the waves was perfect. You can have the room wide open. The pool was lovely and the staff were kind and hospitable. The food was good but for a long stay it's a bit limiting. We liked the fact that there were not a lot of other people so you have complete freedom to have a peaceful holiday.

We had some issues with the leaks in the bathroom and hot water supply which took a long time to sort out. Eventually they sorted it out and were quite apologetic. They did provide some compensation for the inconvenience which goes to show they did try to make it better. We expect this was just a one off situation and doesn't reflect the accomodation for future guests.

Nice pool and decent view right on water

The hotel is convenient to nothing. You cannot walk to another hotel or down the beach and to walk to the town takes 15 minutes where there are simple stores for locals. There is no restaurant so you are to pre order food. We ordered a lunch which was delivered to the pool and was almost inedible.We had to eat it as there was no other option! First time in any Indonesian or Asian country we have had bad food! We may have been the only guests but no reason to shut down decent service. The pool was a welcome respite but the beach is not good at all. The manager immediately started to try to sell a boat trip to Lombok and the company he was highly recommending was rated as the worst and most unreliable on Google. I told him no thanks but did request transportation to the port to catch the fast boat the next morning. He got back to me with a price which was the same amount we paid for a private driver from northern Ubud! We told him that and asked him why so expensive and for a better price and he told us to go find our own transportation! So the next morning when we were departing at 6:30 AM my husband walked 15 minuted down the dirty muddy road and hailed a local van public taxi and he drove us! Absent owner and staff that do not care at all!!
