The location for Biltmore was fine. However, there is nothing around for dining out. We could not find a decent restaurant in the area. Really turned off by signage about trespassing. We felt unwelcomed.

We had a great time visiting Asheville while staying at Eleanor's in Fairview. I'm grateful for the location as it's within close vicinity to all the overlooks in Asheville. We caught a concert at the Harrah's Cherokee Center and only had a 15-min drive back to this nice little cabin. The host was kind enough to offer us anything in the fridge or cabinets. There were plenty of dishes and utensils to make ourselves home cooked meals. In addition, Food Lion (which is great btw) was 3-min from the cabin. This spot was a win-win, we decided to stay one more night.

From the moment we got there until the moment we left everything was awesome. The cabin was everything we expected plus some. We had one question for the host and she responded very quickly. Cozy and very good back yard. It does have quite a few stairs at the back door but that wasn't a problem. The king size bed was very comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

We stayed at this sweet cabin for two nights while attending a two day music festival in Asheville. The cabin was a short drive to Asheville and the cabin itself was so welcoming and homey. We will definitely be back!

This cabin was comfortable, clean, cosy, and perfect for our small family of three. Thoughtfully stocked with anything you might need in the kitchen and bath. We loved listening to records on the player while making dinner and playing board games. Would definitely stay again!

Very nice, clean cabin. We only stayed 1 night, we had a funeral to attend near Asheville. The bed was very comfortable, and for me to say that is something. My hips usually hurt, but I had no issues. The location was perfect, and we had time enough to check the area out, would definitely come back for some fun next time!

The scented soaps, games, movies, books, records; I loved the record player and albums; brought back fond memories; lavender sleep spray, essentials oils and diffuser. I used them all; it was wonderful. And Thank you for recycling; another big bonus for us. And for being dog friendly. The neighborhood was quiet, sitting on the deck was so relaxing and pleasant. This cabin was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. We stayed here to attend our grandson's wedding in Ashville. The cabin was convenient to major routes, restaurants and shops. We would have given it 5 stars across the board except for the terrain. The cabin property is rather steep for those, like us, who have some mobility problems. It's a great cabin for folks who are completely ambulatory. We had to adjust our dates a bit and appreciated the considerations by the friendly agent. She has some lovely artwork displayed in the cabin too! Thank you!!!

My wife and I were here for our anniversary. We had dinner at 2 really good restaurants, and spent all of our day time hiking. So we were not in the house much. But the bed was comfortable, everything worked well and the house was clean. So it worked out just right!

Property was perfect for our weekend plans. We spent two days exploring the Blue Ridge Parkway which is just a short drive from the cabin. Our third day was spent at the Biltmore Estate which was only about a twenty minute drive. The neighborhood was peaceful and the cabin was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of local restaurants and a couple of grocery stores nearby and downtown Asheville is just a short drive. We really enjoyed our visit and would stay again.

My husband and I loved our stay at Eleanor's cabin! It was incredibly peaceful and cozy. We loved waking up in the super comfortable bed to the birds singing and putting on one of her great records. The area around the cabin has great places to eat (highly recommend The Local Joint and Hilltop Ice Cream) and the scenery can't be beat.

this cabin was perfect for me and my boyfriends quick spring break trip - 20 minutes from asheville, and close to hikes along the blue ridge in both directions (we ventured out to grandfather mountain and then black balsam/pisgah in the other direction, only 1 and half hours max for either trip). having a kitchen was perfect as we wanted to cook instead of having to eat out and we had everything we needed for our meals. the cabin was overall very clean and cute, and we loved listening to the record player! we also really enjoyed the brewery down the road. overall a great trip- thank you to the host!

Eleanor has thought of everything! The kitchen is stocked with some basics and guests can leave shareables like condiments and bread! It was so nice after a long drive to have food available. The cabin was well marked and easy to navigate to. There are plenty of blankets, towels, and toiletries! The bed was very comfortable and check out instructions quite easy. Thank you!

Charming, scrupulously clean, well appointed. Easy check-in. Not exactly a "mountain" cabin, more cabinesh in the burbs. A little difficult to find, the road looks like it ends but curves around to the right. Once we figured that out it was pretty simple. Enjoyed our stay, would stay again.
