Great location - so many pubs and eateries in 5 mins walk! And great scenery and attractions. Car parking too.

Shame the jets in the bath didn't work!

Beautiful old cottage , location perfect for Castleton walks , shops , pubs . Tastefully decorated with everything you could need and more. Very clean and comfortable , log burner made out snowy stay so cosy. Pictures do not do it justice. main bedroom is lovely , bed is massive and very comfortable. Pizza oven room as we nicknamed it is smaller but bed is comfortable and spacious enough for 2 . We would definitely go back. Do heed to low ceiling warnings but it does add to the charm of this little gem.

Comfortable cottage in a great location.

Great Location passage to Cave Dale walk on the doorstep as well as Mam Tor, great for exploring what Castleton has to offer. Dinner recommended at The Castle Inn & The Peak Hotel, Look out for live music at the Nags Head & Breakfast at Tilly's Cafe was Brilliant.

The cottage was quiet small however bigger than expected from the pictures, just be prepared for that but we enjoyed it thoroughly. The interesting 2nd bedroom bed is bigger than the picture and opens up, have to be able bodied but part of the adventure and use of space!

A fantastic location, away from the main road so really quiet, but close to everything. A comfortable and cosy cottage.

A few spots without enough headroom. I'm only 1.68 metres, but banged my head a few times, once quite badly

Cooking facilities very poor. We were not able to cook anything as aga hobs and oven were not heated. Bathroom lock was broken No light switch for bathroom from small bedroom Small bedroom light switch was outside the bedroom Could do with steps up to alcove bed as existing box is too high

Very central yet out of the way (literally at the start of cave dale walk). Very clean, beautiful old cottage. Powerful shower. Good WiFi.

Issue with heating (yes even though summer this is England and it was really cold on our first night!) owner was quick to respond and attempt to sort out.

Lovely comfortable large bedroom and bed and loads of space to store things. Fantastic garden. So peaceful with beautiful planting. A real bonus.

No hot water until we were able to check with the hosts. As the availability of hot water is dependent on the Aga, could the relevant dial, (which you ask your visitors not to touch ), be checked for working order before their arrival? Would be good to have more instructions to cook on the Aga to help with timing for meal preparation. This took a very long time to heat up.

Very central and clean

The second bed was quite difficult to get into as in a covered alcove. If you have mobility issues you would not be able to get in. It does not mention this in the information. You have to crawl into the bed. There is a leak in the shower that drips into the kitchen, it looks like they know about it as lots of sealant around the taps in bath.

Excellent location

A little smaller than expected. Very low ceiling/door height.
