Very quiet

Whole property was freezing cold. Windows in bathroom and 1 bedroom didn't fit frames. Had to have have oil radiators on all the time. Nothing on booking.com about extra cost for dog. Also nothing said about going down off road lane to reach property. Central heating not working. Would be ideal for a summer stay but not winter stay.

What’s not to like?! We had a fantastic couple of nights staying in this idyllic cottage. Loved sitting outside reading whilst the sheep wondered by. The forest is minutes away and had a great time exploring and watching deer running through. Had a wonder round Bewdley which was nice.

The additional fee for a dog. After paying the additional fee, I’d read some reviews and someone said they paid £15 for a week. We paid that a night. Also, on email I received confirming booking it said the fee for a dog was even less! So, perhaps the owners need to look into that. But we can’t fault the property at all!

Lovely location and a pretty quirky house.

They are building in the second half of the house and the owner (who is doing the work) kept coming over from his house across the way to do work. There was only a door between us and the building site so the accomodation didn't feel as detached and secluded as we had hoped. We were only there between 5pm and 10am on a single night. They were working till late the first day and back before 9am on the Sunday morning. Couldn't they have waited?

It was a lovely location once we found it. Nice and spacious clean bedding etc..

Unfortunately it was really difficult to find. They didn’t answer my phone calls? I’m guessing because there was no signal?? I had to knock on neighbours door? No body knew where the cottage was but likely they asked a name and the only way I knew the name was because the answerphone message said it. A lovely fire ready to lite but no matches did go and ask for some matches he gave me in a tin with 1 match in it! So the pressure was on to get that match to lite. One last thing my partner dropped a bottle of beer in the kitchen. There was a partition between their house and the cottage they did come through to see what was going on! Not very private.

The location is very near the forest and a perfect place to leave electronic devices home. My children love the swing in the garden and drum hanging on the tree. Wood burner stove is in the living room. We went for a walk to hunt wood sticks in the woods.
