The porch with the rocking chairs every morning and evening was so peaceful. There was a neighborhood dog that brought us so much joy! The place was exactly where we needed to be to accommodate friends and family to attend our daughter's wedding at Willow Creek Farm.

The house and property are a great retreat in North Georgia. The large kitchen island/table made for a wonderful place to gather.

We had an amazing time with family celebrating my husband’s 50th birthday. The cabin was everything we wanted it to be. The kids loved the playground and field and surrounding creek! We grilled out, built a fire every night, enjoyed soaking in the hot tub, and relaxed all weekend. We will definitely be back!

We had a great time at this cabin! It was very clean and the photos and listing were accurate. We do wish there was one more bathroom, but we made it work even with 10 people staying in the house. The property was spacious and well appointed.

The cabin is well equipped and situated on a beautiful piece of property. It is also centrally located between Dahlonega and Helen.

We loved our stay at Matt’s cabin. We got married down the road at Neverland farms over the weekend and had our friends stay here for easy transport to the venue! The house is amazing and has so much space for large groups! So many spaces for people to gather. We truly enjoyed our time here! Thank you!

Love the house, location, cleanliness, fire pit and kitchen. Only downside was the bunk beds squeak loudly with any movement. If you are a sound sleeper or a small child likely not a problem but our group, made up of full grown adults, struggled a bit with sleeping thru the noise.

This house was perfect for my husband’s retirement celebration with our multi generational family of 15 people ages 2-60 somethings. What a beautiful location in the Georgia foothills! The property iwas very clean and comfortable for all. . We cooked most nights and ate dinner on the spacious deck overlooking the property. The kids loved the playground in the back yard as well as the farms next door, across the street and down the street with chickens, horses, cows, and ponies. They loved skipping stones in the creek and catching fireflies at night as well as roasting marshmallows and making S’Mores. WiFi was good for our adult children who were able to work remotely. We loved the area and did some easy hikes in local state parks abounding with waterfalls and natural beauty. Both Helen and Dahlonega are easy drives and fun places to spend a day. We wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful property!

We had a great stay at this house! It was our first family reunion since Covid hit, and it was very fun and accommodated us all comfortably. The property was great for the kids in the group, and the kitchen and cooking facilities were perfect. All in all a wonderful stay

Matt is wonderful! The home and amenities are great. The whole family enjoyed the trip. From the youngest one (8) to the oldest person who was over 70. Everyone found something to do and had a great time. I was worried about the family making too much noise and we never heard anything from Matt or the neighbors. Thank you again for a wonderful stay. My mother was able to have a beautiful 50th birthday celebration.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Big Cabin. We had plenty of room and space. We brought our dogs who loved the big yard to run! Beautiful area and house. Definitely will be back!

I would stay here again in a heartbeat! We traveled with three families for a Quaranteam Friendsgiving. This cabin was absolutely PERFECT! We had seven children (ages 5-12) and six adults. The property itself is amazing; the playground alone was worth the trip! Our kids spent most of the time playing outside, running around, and just enjoying the open space! The cabin was clean and the double washer/dryer set up was perfect with so many kids! The fire pit was equally as amazing and the cabin, itself, is stocked with just about everything you need to make this your home base for a week. Communication with Matt and Christy was seamless and easy. They were quick to answer any questions leading up to our stay as well as during. I'm already trying to figure out when we can make the trip back with our extended family! You definitely won't be disappointed!

Such a spacious, rustic, comfortable cabin. Perfect for a get-away and highly recommended! Easily accessible ramp and accessible shower.

It has everything we needed!

What an amazing stay, nestled in the mountains amongst several farms with cows and horses, awakened by roosters in the mornings was exactly what our group of family and friends needed. The cabin and property was clean an ready to be used upon our arrival and was just as described. We loved it. The property manager answered all my questions and was very helpful. I would highly recommend this location, and would stay again myself.

What an awesome property! We had our wedding at Willow Creek Farm (just around the corner) and our whole wedding party stayed here for the weekend. It was amazing! Plenty of room(s) for everyone and amazing huge kitchen and deck for us all to eat together. Pillows were a little flat, but hey bring your own pillow! We had an amazing time and will definitely be holding some family/friend reunions here in the future.

Lots of room for a larger gathering. Great location if you have kids with all the amenities.

Perfect for our large family and grandparents. Huge back porches were perfect for a rainy afternoon.

Beautiful property and spacious cabin!

We were two families, with a total of seven kids, and the property was perfect for our 11-night getaway from the city life. Unlike many other short-term rental properties, this one was built for purpose, with so many details (both interior and exterior) well thought out for short-term stays of larger groups. The property is well maintained and clean. Matt is a superb host, who always responded promptly to any issues. We'd stay here again, no question!

Our Executive team stayed here for a Retreat. There were plenty of spaces to hold meetings. The location isn't too far from the city. It's a very nice property, and communications with Matt were very open and prompt! We recommend it to any larger groups.

Cabin was perfect size for our family reunion! Clean, well stocked and furnished. Owner was extremely responsive. Location was nice, wish it was closer to town. But location was away from neighbors and very private and peaceful. Overall great cabin, would stay there again in a heartbeat!!!!!

Loved this house for the family get together we planned for my birthday. Be sure and bring everything you will need as it is in a fairly remote area, especially any groceries you overlooked. However we loved the remoteness and solitude. The house was exactly as depicted in the pictures and had plenty of space and beds for everyone.

Great space! We had some people drop out at the last minutes, therefore there was a bedroom for everyone. The living room/kitchen area was wonderful for dinners, gathering and hanging out. My mom was very surprised and excited to visit wineries and zip lining very close to the property. Matt was an awesome host as he was very responsive every time I reached out. Thank you for a memorable trip for my mom!
