The property was very clean, had all the amenities we needed, and was very spacious for a small house. The deck on the back of the house was a very popular spot. We will definitely try to book this house when we come back to Fairhope.

Our family had a wonderful visit to this property! The cottage was well supplied and had everything we needed for a family of 5 with older children. The hosts were welcoming and we felt confident had we needed any assistance that they would have been available and accommodating. Finally, the cottage was conveniently located to Fairhope which was a big bonus for our quick trip!

We stayed at this property for a weekend while in town for a friend’s wedding. It was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Michael the host went out of his way to leave snacks for us when we arrived and write a nice note welcoming us to the property. Highly recommend!

Nice spot to stay

We are group of traveling plumbers all we care about is hot showers and beds anything more is a plus to us. Well no one complained about their bed all of us slept good, and we all had enough hot water to shower each night after work! It’s a good place that we have added to our list to check anytime we have to return to the area to work!

This little cottage was the best! Very spacious, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms & all the small touches were just wonderful. Absolutely loved drinking my coffee on the screened in porch. Welcome packet w/ instructions were quite helpful. Location was perfect for visiting our family that lives just a few miles from this sweet retreat. Will def book again in the future.

Brought my 93 yo Mother to visit family. They came from towns all around to have a little get together. The cottage was a perfect setting. Older place but everyone loved it. Our host Michael was a pleasure to work with. We hope to return. Rick

This was a very charming cottage right in the middle of everything we needed during our stay in Fairhope. Michael, our host, was beyond friendly and we felt very welcomed as he messaged us the morning before our stay to ensure all was in order and to answer any questions. When we arrived, we had personalized water bottles and snacks prepared for us, all in all, I truly appreciate these personal touches. Just under a mile away is an amazing walking trail along Mobile Bay where you can not only see beautiful views, but witness true Southern culture on the boardwalk. This was a great getaway and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you Michael!

Call this little Vrbo gem SNUG, RESTORATIVE, TRUSTWORTHY… call it RETURN!

We visited the area for a wedding and decided to make it a mini vacation over the long weekend. The cottage was exactly what we needed, was very comfortable and clean and the property manager was super attentive. I appreciated the labels on the light switches and the printed info on the house and area. It was close to a very nice Publix and the Bay. Definitely will stay here the next time we are in the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Point Clear Cottage. The cottage is clean, quiet and comfortable. You are very close to many wonderful shops and restaurants! You have everything you need during your stay including a well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. Michael really is a great host and thinks of everything from "Welcome snacks" to small "white noise" machines in the bedrooms closest to the road in case you may be bothered by any noise. We will definately be back!

We moved our son to Fairhope this weekend and needed a base of operations. Mike was great to help us with that and took great care of us during our stay. Highly recommended!

This trip was for a fun girls weekend to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. The cottage was perfect! Great location, clean, all the amenities, and the host was great! Definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

We stayed in the cottage for several weeks while house hunting and waiting for our house to close. We stayed more than a month and the cottage began to feel a little like home to us. Our stay at the cottage was extremely peaceful. It is in a very quiet location with horses grazing in the field behind the property. We have found the screened in back porch and covered deck area to be very relaxing on a cool evening. The cottage had everything we needed and was clean a tastefully decorated upon our arrival. The owners live local, are extremely attentive, and did everything possible to make sure we were comfortable. We would definitely reccommend Point Clear Cottage for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat but still wants to be close to downtown Fairhope and the Beaches of the gulf coast. If you have a boat, this would be great for a boating vacation. There was plenty of room to park our boat onsite and the cottage is very close to boat ramps on the Mobile Bay. We definitely would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It had everything we needed & more! It was in the prefect location for us - near friends, a favorite restaurant & an event we were attending. The host was so welcoming and very available for any questions, etc. We would definitely stay there again!

Michael was extremely helpful from the time we booked until the time we left. He even helped us secure a stay at a nearby location when our plans changed and had to stay another night but his cottage had been booked. Perfect location, just outside of Fairhope and the cottage is very well kept. Will certainly stay here again when we come back.

We booked very last minute for a quick weekend away and the entire stay was perfect. The location was perfect for exploring Fairhope, Foley, and the surrounding area. We loved the house and had fun playing games as a family.

The cottage had everything to make us feel at home. The beds were comfortable, it was very clean, the owner gave us suggestions for hiking and beaches, and had a book full of recommendations where to eat. We loved sitting on the back porch with coffee in the morning, and wine in the evening. It was very private, but close to everything. Loved it!!!

We had a great time, the cottage was nice and very clean. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing. The owners were very helpful and was only a phone call away if I needed them. We wanted to check in a day early and they made sure the place was cleaned up and got us in early.
